strange I downloaded it just a few days ago from here

 

Does it work now?

 

I can't get it to work, still says I have no privileges and I'm admin (did try to add the permission also with no luck)

 

How does a player acquire a pump jack to place it?

 

The placement of pump jacks can't be modified. The ground have to be flat enough.

 

tried played around with it, tried giving permissions, tried reinstalling.... but everytime it says "you don't have the privileges to perform an oil drilling" (this is with standard settings and count for both admin and normal players).
It loads fine on install, I can use the admins only commands (ex. /oilcrate), just not allowing any players to drill for oil.

 

I don't understand.

My question was, how does a play actually GET a pumpjack in order to place it in the ground. I don't see it in the build menu.

 

Take a look at the config at "4. Get pump jack" you can choose your favorite method.
There is no way to modify rust crafting menu.

There's crude oil, there's oil barrels, but what's an oil crate?

Hit what with a pickaxe? An oil crate? Please see question 1.

If you can't see it in the build menu how do you craft it?

Ah okay..
Crate, Crater or a hole in the ground. In this case, the crater with the oil bubbles in it.
With your current settings, you simply hit the crater with your pickaxe to craft a pump jack using the adjusted resources.

 

Problem with permissions. Even i got them the plugin dosnt work for me.

Type the following in your F1-console or rcon:
grant group default oilcrate.allow

 

Ok I am having a problem ----

my Config file - states this -

"1. Settings": {
"1. Quarry can gather oil": false,
"2. Pump jack can gather ores": false,
"3. Change gather rate of static pump jacks (at monuments)": true,
"4. Show 'missing permission' message": true
},

however quarries are giving a lot of crude oil. What am I missing ??

 

Please try the "oilcrate regenerate" command.
