AutoBroadcast

It still doesnt work... So I drop the lua file into the plug ins folder, start server.. Nothing happens. No commands work to initiate it, and there is no json file under config for it? How do I use this>?

 

Well the plug in itself is a lua. I have oxide as im able to manipulate the experiencce gained and loot levels, but the auto broadcast, doesnt seem to work.. I put it under server/plugins. But regardless of stopping, and rebooting the server, there is no config file created? No errors, or anything, just simple doesnt work? Is there another means as to having the server say an admin command? Like admin say "message" All im initially trying to do here, is have my servers website be displayed every hour or so?

 

I'm sorry I honestly am not sure as to how.. I am running oxide through survival servers hosting company. I can access through FTP. (and yes I have manually installed oxide on said server trough FTP and have been using other plug ins effectively) However, I am not sure as to where the logs would be at? Sorry, and thank you.

I guess ill have to give it to you a bit later on as there is people in my server, and I dont want to shut it down and sacre them away to get a log. But that there was one of 2 before that one, but all it said was helicopter not enough people

I apologies... I wasnt sure what you were wanting. I will upload next time. But, the file I downloaded was from here, and is indefinitely a lua file. And from what i've always done, going from server/oxide/plugins. Is where I placed the Lua file. So Im not sure?

 

Hey sorry for the delay, been pretty hectic with this new components system. Anyways, Ive been trying to still get the autobroadcaster to work, as well as betterloot, and gather manager. Again.,.. none worked... I placed the lua or CS file in the server/oxide/experimental/plugins folder. I reboot the entire server. I then reopen with file zila, and coordinate to server/oxide/experimental/cfg folder, and i don't see a single .json file? Its really weird.. Unless the plug in itself seems to be already configured from the download. The plug ins never seem to create a .json file for me? The only one that worked the way is should, was the xp multiplayer.. As soon as I rebooted server, a .json file appeared in the cfg folder... It really makes no sense to me? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks. Also im honestly not sure if these are the latest logs, as the dates and time are all off and mixed up... I tried my bes tto go to the most recent closest time/date towards what it actually is.

 

Hm.... COuld this have something to do with me running the server through Survival Servers company? Because I know for 100% fact, that they are the right file names, extension, and are definitely in the correct folders... I mean where else would I put them? Json goes in config, lua, cs, goes in plug ins right? I mean.. Not sure what ever I am or can do..

 

So... Not sure wtf was the issue.. Well Apparently it was survival servers... They said my server was stuck under Canada, even know it was in the US or something retarded like that?? Anyways, they upgraded/updated/moved my server and now everything works perfectly! No wonder.. Was not an operational error after all.. Was about to say... This is super easy, and I remember it working fine in the past.. Anyways, everything works perfectly and my server is the best ping ever! Thanks so much for all your guys help and patience, and sorry that it was obviously a manufacture malfunction of some type.. Also, what ever happened to advertising servers on here? Was it removed? Also, where can I promote my server other than reddit and toprust servers.etc? thanks!
