    I tried rcon in game using the console, Keep getting invalid command. Tried adding an admin via gameservers.com, still says in game, "you dont have permission to use this command" Any help?

    Did you follow the tutorial in the first post? If you follow all the steps correctly, you'll have permission to use Rust commands.

    If you can't give yourself items, you're not set as owner or moderator.

    How do set it to where you don't have to enter this in everytime you log into your server as a player? Because every time I log into my server I don't have admin. So I have to go into Rusty and type in the command. Is there a way to save it in your config file on your server?

    ownerid STEAM64 "Name" "Reason" (then hit enter)
    server.writecfg (then hit enter)
    Leave the server and rejoin

    Hi guys,

    A month ago I bought me a server for rust experimental and made me Owner thru he consol by write ownerid "steamID" "name". But now I want to remove me as Owner and play without the owner rights at my server and do all things thru the server consol on Multiplays website.

    But I'm not able to delete me as Owner in the user.cfg. Everytime I save the file and restart the server my ownerid is back in the user.cfg. Also delete the file isn't possible. Get a message that I can't delete the file.

    How do I solve this? Hope you can help me!
