  1. The only thing I don't like about the new way you have this setup, is that it ticks faster on the charcoal but not the same tick rate on the actual smelted object. It spits out charcoal like a racecar but the actual items tick slightly faster than vanilla.
     
  2. Yes but max is 10x on a 100x or 1000x server it would take forever to smelt the massive amounts of Ore

    with x10 tick ("furnace.large": 10.0,)
    Now you burn 100 wood
    and take 54 of charcoal
    and only 20 of MetalFrag (fron metal ore)

    with the other config you could change the amount of charcoal produced and the % of ores burned and have something like:
    100 wood burned
    100 charcoal
    100 of ore burned for 100 of resource coming back

    Then stay on the old version. But that system was for most user not handy enough. You did anyway use own own version, or? :)
    also 10x is really is strong enough for most set-ups.
    And whats the definition of a "1000x server"? :p

    Thats what the plugin was meant to be still from beginning. Not to change the output, but to change how fast it outputs.

    but realy, I need what older version does, just that.
    I dont like to use older versions but in this case your version is not realy a new version, maybe a "branch" or alternative version.
     
  9. It stays not on only the current functions.
    But the main goal on this was to make it easier accessible for everyone. Next things are maybe some internal multipliers to change output per tick as additional feature to the tick speed changes.

    Are you sure that Speed up the tick rate of all the furnaces will not Impact in the CPU performance of server?

    I know that touching tick rates is not ideal, that is why I was asking to up the amounts of multipliers and low the tickrate. I think will be smart than speed up all... Just Saying...

  11. Thats why i limited it to 10 for the first with the current option-set....
    Deeper details need to be fine-graded next days.

  13. Can someone help me with this new config.
    I want wood in furnace to burn normal speed, and charcoal x2 (1 wood = 2 charcoal) and i want ore to smelt fast, like x15 times faster.
    For what i can see only the wood burning speed is counting faster when i tried set the "furnace": 5.0,
    What am i missing here? Maby post an example for me?

    I love that you can edit exactly what burns fast and what does not (light sources burning at a normal rate),
    most of the modded servers that are over x10 have been using your plugin on a x100 scale or more, so as you did improve the plugins configurability on
    different items you kinda made it useless for some users.
    I understand you having visions and wishes for the plugin, but as you are sharing it with everyon of us, wouldn`t you mind making it in our favor?
    It has been here for a while and it is/was a great help to many servers and we thank you for that!
     
  15. It's sure always a hard cut to change a plugin the way that it did work before. Mainly for the most its now easier to configure, for some feels it surely like a downgrade :)
    The current state means not, thats its now and you need to live with it ;) But i wanted as first make it more accessible. Fine-grading comes afterwards.

    I deleted my old quicksmelt. Where can i find the old working one?

  18. this plugin is now worthless. the charcoal smelts to quick. the old way was better
     
  19. I understand. But you could copy the old one and name it Quicksmelt Plus or something, and keep the possebillity to
    do x15 smelt for ore and so on.
    OR do you plan to add "ore smelt": 15.0:, :)
     
  20. It Smelts like the game does calculate it to smell. Currently it can do all only faster.
