Hi miRor,
here's the smallest test building we tried to paste on our server.
thanks for your help!Attached Files:

But this is already a JSON file, which is used by both the CopyPaste plug-in and the Fortify program.
It remains only to copy this file to the server directory:
..\oxide\data\copypaste
and in the game enter the command:
/paste test_base
and this building will be installed in the place you are looking at.
This file is also opened by Fortify.
I do not understand your problem. Explain in what the difficulty? -
Seemingly all the sudden I'm getting "File does not exist" when trying to /paste buildings in, and I'm lost how that could happen when the folder in data is full of .json files still, any ideas I'm not thinking of?
-
I have this also happened when I tried to save the casino objects from the City of Bandits =) And then when I tried to paste, there is a file, but an error message.
-
Here's the file
[DOUBLEPOST=1533734439][/DOUBLEPOST]This is exactly what we do but we get the following error in the console and the nothing happens in the game:
Code:Failed to call hook 'cmdChatPaste' on plugin 'CopyPaste v3.6.7' (NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object) at Oxide.Plugins.CopyPaste.TryPaste (UnityEngine.Vector3 startPos, System.String filename, BasePlayer player, System.Single RotationCorrection, System.String[] args, System.Boolean autoHeight) [0x00096] in :0 at Oxide.Plugins.CopyPaste.TryPasteFromSteamID (System.UInt64 userID, System.String filename, System.String[] args) [0x0008b] in :0 at Oxide.Plugins.CopyPaste.cmdChatPaste (BasePlayer player, System.String command, System.String[] args) [0x0007b] in :0 at Oxide.Plugins.CopyPaste.DirectCallHook (System.String name, System.Object& ret, System.Object[] args) [0x00941] in :0 at Oxide.Plugins.CSharpPlugin.InvokeMethod (Oxide.Core.Plugins.HookMethod method, System.Object[] args) [0x00079] in :0 at Oxide.Core.Plugins.CSPlugin.OnCallHook (System.String name, System.Object[] args) [0x000d8] in :0 at Oxide.Core.Plugins.Plugin.CallHook (System.String hook, System.Object[] args) [0x00060] in :0

Hmmmm....
I use the version (quote from the plugin):
[Info("Copy Paste", "Reneb", "3.6.6", ResourceId = 716)]
But I have your file open in Fortify and just as successfully inserted into the game ...
I attach the plugin file ..Attached Files:

Copy paste = 3.6.7 and not 3.6.6, maybe this cause your problem?
-
Fortunately this is not my problem, but the guys are higher ... I have a good 3.6.6. In the meantime, it works fine and without complaints, I'll load it with the update)) Moreover, I see that in 3.6.7 there are some problems ...
-
Yes, we have the latest version installed on the server (3.6.7). Is there a way to download the previous version?
-
YES! Of course! There is a history of all versions ...
I hope my advice will help you get rid of the problem! )Attached Files:

Thx, I was able to install the previous version 3.6.6 but I get the same error :/
-
Then the most likely problem is not in the build file and not even in the plugin. Disassemble the error code thoroughly in line.
-
where can i find other peoples buildings to import to my server i want to add cool stuff but don't have the time to make it myself
-
steam / fortify they have loads there
-
do i have to have fortify downloaded??
-
u have to own fortify
u sub to what ever u want in steam workshop
Boot up fortify and save the building out as a json and then copy it to your copy/paste folder
then it game /paste name -
Aahhhhhh okay that makes a lot of sense thank you oh so very much
[DOUBLEPOST=1534221818][/DOUBLEPOST]also when i do /undo on a big building i pasted i get kicked for packet flooding: player tick is that normal i figured it was just because it was such a big building -
yeah ive had that as well
Also one other thing be careful of pasting in massive buildings
U will see your entity count go up which is obvious but when u do /undo the entity count never goes back down.
Check it and see if u you get the same issue -
its not looking like it is but its possible its just not a big enough building but im having trouble with fortify i can figure out how to save something as a json or really save it at all
