- moderatorid <steamid64> "player name" "reason" - Sets player as a server moderator with auth level 1
- ownerid <steamid64> "player name" "reason" - Sets player as a server admin with auth level 2
- removemoderator <steamid64> - Removes player as moderator
- removeowner <steamid64> - Removes player as owner

Thank you so much
btw what can a Mod do? like the owner can spawn in stuff but what commands do the Mod have ? -
Depends what permissions you give the group. Standard rust mod permissions can be found if you google it
-
I have a Rust server and I gave my self owner but when I want to use commands such as "kit add" it says I dont have permission. Note I have my brother on same wifi with ownerid, will that affect anything?

You aren't admin then. Make sure you've followed every step and have logged out and back in. Also test other default Rust admin features. -
I did, still says I have no access, but when I goto user.cfg it says that I am in there. And I checked the SteamID, and it is correct.

You need to relog after giving yourself admin

I got working, but thanks for the help!

Rusty and RCON don't have anything to do with admin. -
I had game servers hosting for a while, I recommend canceling it completely before you start to open your server, copy the files through FTP. The panel is horrible and the staff know nothing about it, the prices may be cheap, but the servers are bad. Try streamlineservers. The staff get back to you within an hour with answers, it took 3 weeks with game servers
-
Never have had any problems with support from gameservers only there hosting boxes cause lag thats the only problem only thing its good for is a test server
-
Is there another way to get admin without using Rusty ( as it does not work for me)

Yes, you can edit the server/identity/cfg/users.cfg manually. -
I use game servers to host and I have found no such file in the FTP, is there no other program or way I can do this ingame? Edit: found the server file with cfg inside but when I open the file there is nothing

You can do it via the F1 console if you are already admin, otherwise your only options are that file and RCON. -
I did oxide.grant group admin *, But i want to do it with the owner
how do i take the permissons to standard? because now the admins have access every permission
