Admin and moderators in Rust

    Yup, that's right then. Just logout of the server and back in and you should be set as owner.

    Hello, I have a problem, I appear in the command console as Owner and that worked perfectly, but when I give F1 and I'll Item List and give it to BP, for example. I get a message that says to me: You are missing the Necessary permissions to Do That !.

    But I put the "god" such as command and I get in GodMode. Any solution?

    You are using a plugin that overrides those commands, such as RemoveAAA or Admin Spawn. You'd need to see their Overview for the required permissions, it has nothing to do with auth level or admin/owner.

    You need to install this plugin
    Admin Spawn for Rust | Oxide
    Then give your admin group this permission adminspawn.all

    I gave my friend ownerid 123456789 "Tumez" "admin"
    server.writecfg
    Still he just can't do anything noclip or anything what is the problem?

    Hi, I was tinkering with another Rust server and noticed an issue with removing OwnerIDs. Through my FTP client I tried editing out the relevant line from the remote file, deleting the remote file and I tried to see if there was any command for removal but could not find any. What are my options for properly removing the ID? Is the server.writecfg command the reason that it keeps restoring?

    Any help is appreciated

    The server.writecfg is only used when you use the console to add/remove users, not manually editing the file. It would be the reason it is resetting.

    Okay, I have oxide installed and working on the server. I have also set server ownerid, but the server won't let me run commands like /kit list from the kit addon (http://oxidemod.org/plugins/kits.668/). What am I doing wrong can someone please explain. Thanks you!

    If you can't use the command, you aren't set as owner/admin on the server. Make sure to follow ALL of the steps in this thread, as well as logging out and back in for it to work.

    kit list is a player command you dont need to be an admin to use it if no lists are coming up then you have no kits made

    It is a command. You enter it in your console after using ownerid.
