1. We did yes, unfortunately they still haven't showed up in the config folder by the looks of it, is this because of 'RCON'? In regards to the "Not Connected", what do you suggest we do for going about this situation?

Where are you seeing the "Not Connected"? If you see that in your server console, that means it isn't connected to Steam or fully started. I'd check your server logs for errors if that is the case. If you are seeing the "Not Connected" in RCON, then yes it is related to RCON.

If you do not see users in the users.cfg file after adding them and then saving that with the commands shown in the first post, then there is either a permissions issue with your server setup or no users were correctly added for it to save. You could always add them manually to that file though.

  3. Would it be possible for you to use remote desktop connection to resolve the issue on my computer?

I'm not able to right now, but I'm sure @Resistance could offer up help in that department.

  5. Hello, I am the friend of "torchtheguilty" who owns the server, resistance can you use remote desktop connection to help my situation, thank you or @Wulf if you are able to now it would be a great help, thank you

  6. Yes, I can use it, but as the other guy is the owner it would be best if I talk with him, get him to pm me his Skype info and we can go from there. It will be Monday when I can help and I have two other people to help as well on here on Monday, so first come first helped I don't work on Sunday

  7. I am actually the owner of the server haha, we both co-own it and he is not available tonight and also uses a Mac so it would be difficult for him, he was at my place last night so was easier then but I am the one who bought the server so technically I own it, can you just walk me through what to do?

  8. So if you own why did you not say that why did you say he owned it? Above post updated, please read it first, then pm me your Skype info will then add you on Monday

  9. Sorry I just re-read what I wrote and worded it incorrectly, meant to say: "I am the friend who owns the server/friend of "Torchtheguilty", I understand where you misunderstood, what time will you be free tomorrow?

  10. Hard to know, but as we are both from the UK we should be around at the same time just pm me your Skype info will add it when I get up tomorrow

No, you'd have to remove their auth level and only grant them plugin permissions for the functions you want.

  13. i am admin but write you don't have permission rust.

    This is my Log :
    ownerid 76561198204976981 "ARMAN KING"
Added owner ARMAN KING, steamid 76561198204976981

Did you logout and back in to the server? Did you use server.writecfg after using the ownerid command?

  15. Please see the photo:

Did you the command I mentioned previously? Are you sure "my_server_identity" is the actual identity you are using?

  17. Yes, I'm sure.

You may want to double-check, as you should at least have serverauto.cfg which is generated by Rust by default. You should also have users.cfg after you use 'server.writecfg' in your console. I'd recommend searching for those filenames in the window's search box from the server root.

  19. Thank You .

I wrote on the console server.writecfg

    I now have three files:
    Bans - ServerAuto- Users
    -

There is this line in the Users file:

ownerid 76561198204976981 "ARMAN KING" "no reason"
