1. Hi, currently having a issue by adding one of my friends as a owner

I type it the command, and I do "server.writecfg". After I do those steps, it still says he's a player. What should I do?
[DOUBLEPOST=1458254883][/DOUBLEPOST]And it didn't say to the users.cfg either. Am I doing something wrong here?

  2. So you done this command
    ownerid steamid64 "player name" "reason"
check the users.cfg file see if he is in there if yes then add him to the admin group

  3. Yes, i've done that and it still doesn't now show in the users.cfg file.

What should I do? Cause it doesn't even show the autorized level 2 when he logins.

    Where are you using server.writecfg?

  5. Can you post here what you put in rcon

  6. I put in ownerid 76561198061687090 "mopzey "owner"
    [DOUBLEPOST=1458265153][/DOUBLEPOST]
    Rusty RCON.

  7. You missed " after mopzey
    ownerid 76561198061687090 "mopzey "owner"
    Needs to be
    ownerid 76561198061687090 "mopzey" "owner"

But for that steam id its showing the name as adamjohn626

The name doesn't really matter, it's just for notes. Pretty sure it only relies on the Steam ID, but if the Steam ID is for the wrong user, then it wouldn't work. It should still save either way.

  9. Yes I know but had to point it out have to get the post count up someway :p

  10. as what i have noticed is if your an admin it is built in just use your hammer thats what i use for my community server :)

  11. Hello!

I currently having a issue by adding moderator to my server

    I type command:
    moderatorid 76561198064071271 "Killicon" "moderator"
    Type: server.writecfg
He added to file users.cfg, good. Server restart. Moderator rejoining to steam. But not working oxide permission on this moderator.. "noclip", "ent kill" - worked!

I opened oxide.users.data, search "76561198064071271". There is specified that he is a "player" and not a "moderator".

    Help please!
Sorry for my bad english.. :)

  12. After you have done
    moderatorid 76561198064071271 "Killicon" "moderator"
    server.writecfg
Get him to relog no need to restart the server

  13. It didn't help :(

  14. You can pm me your skype info if you need help fixing it

  17. Hi guys,

I've not long created my server had it for about a month now and will continue to host the server, however, because my server is more of a stone-age theme I would like to stop the use of Explosives/Rockets to make it a bit harder for raiders in the server, give them more of a challenge!

Is this at all possible? If so... how do I accomplish this?

  18. I have a big problem.
I have Oxide 2 installed on my server (remote host), and it appears to be working, at least to some extent.
Was able to give myself and one other person Owner status, by using the [ownerid *** "name"] command via the Rusty RCON tool.
I can use the 'regular' admin commands in the in-game console, but it seems I lose my admin status each time the server restarts, forcing me to do the ownerid thing again to get it back.
    Now, the BIG problem....
For some reason I can not get ANY plugin to work.
I upload them into the plugins folder, but when I try using any of the commands associated with the plugin, I keep getting 'invalid command'.
Using any oxide. command gives the same result, 'invalid command'.
Restarting the server only results in me having to re-use the ownerid command via Rusty in order to get my admin status back.

Please note: I am NOT experienced with these kind of things, so please try keep any explanations as simple as possible.

  19. What is the full path to the users.cfg file ?

  20. Every server is different just find the cfg folder, but normally it's just after your server identity folder
