TruePVE

Hi there. Can anyone please tell me if it's possible to use TruePVE in the following way?

Normally the server will be in PVE with the exception of the following:
1. Night time is always PVP
2. During certain events (initiated by the mod 'Dangerous Treasures') the server will switch to PVP until that event has been completed (then it switches back to PVE).

Is this possible? I'm pretty sure point 1 can be done but I'm not sure if point 2 can be done. If it can be done, I would appreciate any guidance.
