It would run, but some hooks would likely no longer work.

true but that also depends on the hooks cause sometimes well like last time no one could join the server cause the hooks were not placed in the correct injection point

okay good to know thanks for the info I'm thinking I'm going to stick to Vanilla Rust for now and for my server... don't hate me now but until a stable Oxide 2 release comes out or until a future Rust update as the new building system is garbage as I'm sure many have figured out... and probably why another stable hasn't been released as I'm sure it has taken some time to rewrite some current code... love it or hate the new building system either it's here to stay or not who knows...

Posting simply because when I run my .bat file it doesn't come up with the same transcript or whatever. Haven't tested if the server works, but I doubt it does considering the difference.

^ That's a screencap of what I'm getting. The only things I altered in between the quotations were the server hostname, server identity, max players (2) and rcon password. I downloaded oxide-2_b42-20141124 and extracted + overwrote everything where instructed to do so. I have all the c++ updates installed. Is the issue with the location of the server files on my drive? Should I move it to my steam folder? Any help would be appreciated. -
The server should actually work. -
Hi Wulf, im getting
"Disconnected: Easy Anti Cheat - disconnected"
"Disconnected - returning to main menu"
After installing the latest Oxide Version from your Thread -
happening to everyone i was connecting fine till a couple of hours ago and i updated yesterday so i doubt its the latest version of oxide
-
"-server.secure 0" -
strange i don't have this problem.
[DOUBLEPOST=1417009333][/DOUBLEPOST]oh never mind, i've had server.secure 0 since it bugged with mac users XD, never put it off. -

I thought I had deleted that post.. Tested it within minutes after posting and it worked. Even got some plugins in and they're working fine as well. Only issue I'm having at the moment is figuring out how to get hamachi's ipv4 to work with my server as I'd rather not be handing out my ip. Also, I'm not exactly sure how to make myself admin/moderator yet.

I'm a little lost. I updated Rust server yesterday, and installed the oxide from yesterday, but there's an Oxide Update today? Should I update Oxide, even though I've got the version before installed and it's working?
