1. I ran the app_update 258550 and it finished without any problems. I looked into my directory where I did the force_install_dir <path> and these are the folders and items in order that saved:

  3. You just extract the contents of the snapshot file into that folder, the snapshot contains the changed files & required files for oxide so when it asks to overwrite certain files you say yes.

    Regarding the bat file, just put it in the same folder and use something like this:

    Replace the things between <YOUR-...> with your values, server name & rcon password are pretty straight forward, world seed should be any number (really any number :p) and worldsize can be anything between 2000 and 8000.

    You don't have VisualC++ 2012 x64 installed per the instuctions, else you are missing lua52.dll.

    Yes I can confirm this my server has no mods at the moment and the wood storage boxes work fine. But all the modded servers that I join that are more than likely using Oxide 2 as the mod as the plugins are some of the same I used until whatever build it was for Oxide 2 until the new building system ( I think Build 27).
