New Items will not drop if you don't edit config with protocol version 38. So Generating new config is better.

I cant see the new parts either, only seeing diamonds & diamond dust

after the last update to version 40 does not take me lootconfig.json to have 5x on the server, please help

Editing LootConfig would not effect whether or not cars spawn. The default values for car spawns are quite low and each car can take hours to spawn. After you restart the server or reload the plugin the car spawns will go back to the minimum spawn level (unless more people have claimed cars than the minimum) , which I believe is 6 or something like that. So it is likely the cars just haven't spawned yet - either that or there is a lot of claimed cars on your server which, without increasing the maximum spawn numbers, will result in less cars spawning in rad towns as the car spawner counts both claimed and unclaimed cars, even though it doesn't delete claimed cars when resetting to the minimum.

 

Alright on the main page from this plugin its saying instead of the Lootconfig.json it will be Lootcondfig.old.
But the funnys thing is When I've upload the Lootcondif.cs into my control panel/server.
And I'm going to look on the config folder its saying Lootconfig.json and not .old
So Explain it to me please how this even is possivle

 

go to your folder or control panel where your server is and then filemanager oxide/config/LootConfig,json Download the file and change the

Code:

"GlobalStackSizeMultiplier": 1.0,

to what ever you want so for example 500.0.
Then get back inside of your server and use /reload LootConfig
When done that your server is X500.
the X500 is just for example you can change it to every X that you want
And to install the plugin go to oxide/plugin and upload it on there now you can do two things restart your server.
Or go inside of your server and use the same thing /reload LootConfig

 

I really wouldn't recommend anything over 10X though, even 10X you max out way too fast, and I highly recommend editing each drop stack manually as opposed to using the globalstacksizemultiplier. You really don't want 10 det caps dropping every time someone finds a det cap. And 10X owrong seeds will cause a ton of lag because huge owrong farms cause lag.

 

Lag is depens how your host is do you've a host that is hosting for you and you've enough ram /cpu that is 4gb then you're good to go.
But yes I've see hurtworld servers that have 500X loot but that isn't then for the suvival those server are calling created servers where you only can build some nice bases

 

What I meant by max out is in the game players get end game too fast and it becomes Call of Duty amateur hour with no challenge or farming required. Basically over 5X or so makes the server a carebear server for noobs with nothing to offer for experienced players lol

Guys you need to update it yourself.After Game Updates new loot config is generated and your old one is backed up with extention ".old". You need to edit your new or old one with new values.You can check out "Winmerge" for merging text files(at least making things a bit easier) 11k lines with 4 different servers are making headache...

 

Can u upload ur config with kanga items ?

 

This is default config for latest update.

 

No errors in logs but this and SpawnConfig no longer work with the new oxide
