  1. no premade towns but there is loads of buildings etc if u have Fortify on Steam.
In fortify Workshop u can download Buildings and then in fortify save them as json files
Copy them to the Copy Paste folder and then paste them in.
Its as easy as that - also Fortify on steam is only a few pound.

  2. I just can not figure out how to make this work? copy paste plugin with fortify for Rust.

  3. miRror updated Copy Paste with a new update entry:

    3.5.6

    Check update

Record a video as you copy the building with enabled turrets, and paste with the disabled.

  4. You want me to make a video ? Sorry I don’t understand?

  5. just came to suggest adding short form case switches such as i for inventories, d for deployables etc but i see it is already there. nice! could add it to the overview if you felt like it. i think more people should know about it
    cheers

  6. yes, video with problem.

  7. ok no problem

  8. Can you please help me, I cannot figure out how to make this plugin work. I have downloaded the file into my ftp directory under /oxide/data/copypaste. I changed the file to .json by renaming it. but I type /copy or /paste in game and nothing happens. I have even tried /paste clanbase using a file I saved in Fortify as clanbase and it still doesn't work. I don't understand the .json part, the file downloaded in Visual C#Source File format?
    Questions Are:
    1. Do I need to convert the CopyPaste.cs to CopyPaste.json? And if I need to do that then How do I do that?
    2. Where do I download the file into my FTP directory? Oxide? or Server?
    3. How does it work with Fortify?

  9. I'm trying to find why people are getting kicked for packet flooding on my server. I suspect it is a plugin issue. In my server compiler log if found the following entries for the CopyPaste plugin. Is there something in a config file that needs to be changed?
CopyPaste.cs(200,138): warning CS0618: `UnityEngine.Quaternion.ToEulerAngles()' is obsolete: `Use Quaternion.eulerAngles instead. This function was deprecated because it uses radians instead of degrees'
CopyPaste.cs(215,95): warning CS0618: `UnityEngine.Quaternion.ToEulerAngles()' is obsolete: `Use Quaternion.eulerAngles instead. This function was deprecated because it uses radians instead of degrees'
CopyPaste.cs(363,112): warning CS0618: `UnityEngine.Quaternion.ToEulerAngles()' is obsolete: `Use Quaternion.eulerAngles instead. This function was deprecated because it uses radians instead of degrees'
CopyPaste.cs(893,25): warning CS0168: The variable `ex' is declared but never used
CopyPaste.cs(910,40): warning CS0618: `UnityEngine.Quaternion.EulerRotation(UnityEngine.Vector3)' is obsolete: `Use Quaternion.Euler instead. This function was deprecated because it uses radians instead of degrees'
CopyPaste.cs(924,37): warning CS0618: `UnityEngine.Quaternion.EulerRotation(UnityEngine.Vector3)' is obsolete: `Use Quaternion.Euler instead. This function was deprecated because it uses radians instead of degrees'

  10. I've used this plugin for a while, but after recent updates it seems impossible to paste a building right. No matter what I do, the building is pasting in so much lower than I copied it. For instance, a door that was a high foundation up is now beneath the ground.
[DOUBLEPOST=1516109857][/DOUBLEPOST]I had to noclip under the group to the lowest point, then paste when looking down at the ground to get it to work.

Wait I take that back. I go somewhere else in the world and not the thing is completely underground.

  11. /paste NAME height 0

if u need more height try height 1 or more

  12. Learn something everyday

  13. You are overcomplicating things... .cs and .json are two different files, so DO NOT RENAME! Delete all copypaste-files, and start with a clean slate. upload your .cs (plugin) file to: /oxide/PLUGINS. This is where all of them go. The .json in config will be created automatically on first load of the plugin, ie. when you upload it, and the data folder is where copypaste will store the copied buildings as seperate files for easy access. This is the folder where you download builds you wan't to tweak in fortify, or upload builds from fortify to paste in-game.

  14. miRror updated Copy Paste with a new update entry:

    3.5.7

  15. Everything i paste is not the actuall size it was before. Dont know what happened!!!

  16. Hey, since updating to the latest version one of my copy buildings works perfectly while others either only pastes half the building or the majority of it breaks when it is pasted. Any idea why this is happening? the one that is fine is roughly a 5 wide by 2 high box while one of the ones that is breaking is 2 wide and 1 high and another is 7 wide, 3 high. Thanks!

  17. If you paste a construction and it partially breaks, use parameter: /paste NAME stability false

  18. Thank You!

  19. We have found that there is a bug where the buildings either break or don't spawn properly when their are paintings are being copy/pasted. Whenever there is a building with a painting on it, it breaks, just removing those paintings and it all works perfect.
