i tried deleting it all reloading it I still cant get bots and murderers to spawn at same monument I have to disable murderers to get bots to spawn

Ok, so the health 'fix' adds a buffer to each bot, according to your config setting, instead of actually increasing their health.
As you hit them, the damage is nulled and that buffer is reduced until it's no more, after which normal damage resumes.
It works well enough, but I hadn't considered that some of you may be publishing or displaying real-time health stats, so I'll look into another solution. -
earlier with health everything was excellent. why all the redoing, when everything was fine

The health setting didn't apply to murderers, as they are hardcoded with a 100 max, whereas the scientists are coded with a 500 max.
I think I can override both so it works 'properly'. I just have to work out how. -

It's a workaround for a workaround, but it would work.
Hold fire for a little bit - I put in a request to have the hook altered or another added.
May not go through, but it was a recent chance in an oxide hook that created the issue so worth asking. -
with the "Bot_Firing_Range" setting: 100, sometimes they lose the target by 20

So I'm still unclear about the whole murderer setting. Can they use melee? I know the description says not to use melee. But that seems to be the original purpose for the murderer.

The murderer seems to work as a preset package. I haven't experimented with custom kits and don't really recommend it - It sort of is what it is.
The suggestion not to use melee is really for custom kits, and may even be outdated - Not sure.
Regarding the backpack drop - The plugin keeps track of dead bots and removes their backpack when it spawns.
That means if the plugin gets reloaded sometime between a bot dying and his backpack spawning, the info is lost and the backpack will spawn.
I think that's probably what you're seeing, @Krazy J

I've used melee with murderer. And I have used kit. But here's the result. The clothing stays. But the loot is random. And the weapon is thrown. Non stop. A little OP. But I find it amusing. Getting your ass whooped with a bone knife. Is there a setting I need to alter or is this just how it runs?

I didn't really think too much about the possibilities of altering, or customising, murderers.
I figured people would either set Murderer true and use it as is (kit wise) or set false and carry on as before.
If there's merit in giving murderers a custom kit / different weapons then that's cool, but it's not tested.Last edited by a moderator: Nov 4, 2017 -

I have included murderers and gave them kit with a firearm.
Then I gave kit with a melee weapon.
In both cases, they are working as they should.
If they use firearms and they have little health, then they run at you and try to attack. -
