  5. I currently have murderers running at players, but not actually attacking with their weapon. They just stand in front of the player with their weapon out. Scientist AI NPCs do actually attack though.

    Also, is it possible to make scientists be able to only use melee? They seem to like to believe that their melee weapon is a gun.

  7. ive got some agressive murderers and some that stand around and let you kill them too. following :)
     
  8. S'all good. Been fixing a few things tonight. Finally got some time to sit down with it.
     
  9. That would be no good for me as mine are using the shotguns I gave them, They only act as though the gun is a melee weapon when they are a "murderer"
     
  10. I don't think that's what Shinnova means.
    If a scientist has only a melee weapon, he'll swing it as an attack even if he's far away from you, whereas a murderer knows to get close first.

    Murderers use weapons properly, though. They just generally try to get much closer than scientists do.

  12. When using kits with weapons that require fuel or ammo, do I need to include the ammo/fuel in the kit? Or is it unlimited for bots?
     
  13. great work with all the updates! fast too! is it possible to send info to economics/server rewards to reward RP for bot kills? seems like the npc reward in their config only looks at humannpc plugin which deletes all botspawn npcs when it loads
     
  14. Zombies are agressive again! Thanks for taking time out of your weekend. I have 5 or 6 different kits, just for the items i want murderers to drop and ive included a first aid kit in the belt of all of them, and sometimes i see the murderers running at me with a first aid kit AND a machete in hand...
    when that happens they wont attack.. wasnt like that last month, ill have to redo kits and see if thats it, i dont think its botspawn doing it. :)
     
  15. My players are reporting very short Zombie agro range and I've noticed that too. Would it be possible to add in an agro range value we can edit? Or just double or triple it?

    I'm not sure if my plugin gives, or that plugin detects; I suspect the latter.

    Bot's don't require ammunition, although the will carry out a reload animation.

    Last I checked the won't use flamethrowers at all but that may be because there's no ammo and their scrips aren't written with fuel as ammo in mind.


    Will be looking into it.

    Anything placed in the belt is available for the bot to use.
    I haven't written any ignore process for items that aren't weapons so best to just not put them in there.
    If you want to reward your players, stick to bot main inventory. ;)

    I fixed my issue with murderers holding a bandage AND a machete. Instead of just one bandage in the first belt slot, i somehow had a rogue kit with 3 bandages in it. Without something in the belt i was having a hard time getting items i wanted to add as extra loot from killing a murderer. All good.

    I tried to use flamethrowers a while back too and could never figure out how to make it relead either.. Woder how the jackhammer works? Ill try it tonight when i get home. :)

  19. I think there is a double-held-items issue, even with proper weapons.
    Saw some bots holding bullet weapons and swords at the same time, so obviously I've made a mistake when I was cleaning up that code.
    I'll figure it out. ;)
     
  20. Got a bunch of no weapon alerts out of nowhere until I reloaded the plugin today and I don't use kits at all
