Admin and moderators in Rust

How do you remove someone as owner / admin via rusty? I added someone as owner and they kind of abused their powers and want to remove them now?

My service provider is vilayer.com and when I type in the in-game console rcon.login "my password" I throw an error invalid command rcon.login!

 

rcon.password mypassword

 

I see how to add admins... now i have a couple that haven't played in months. So how do i remove admins?

 

think i found it... should be

removemoderator steamid

right?

 

oops my bad found the answer allready.

 

After using removeowner steamid make sure you also run server.writecfg

 

because I can not fly? I have administrator permission and I can pick up items, but can not fly!

Okay, every-time my server restarts it seems to revoke my owner permission. It also puts all console commands back to default for example i bumped up the respawn rate up and now its back down after a restart.

the following code i put in the rustyy console: ownerid STEAMID64 "admin" "reason"

It works then when the server restarts it makes me a player again..

why is this happening? It's a vanilla rust server as well..

 

Type server.writecfg after you do that.
