Whenever i use rusty and connect to the server it comes up with the green light but it says not connected then turns red again :/
-
- ownerid <steamid> "player name" "reason"
- moderatorid <steamid> "player name" "reason"
-
Wulf Community Admin
removeowner and removemoderator, same arguments. -
I just want to know what can people who are given ownerid do that people that have moderatorid cant, so what are people with moderatorid limited too?
-
Wulf Community Admin
There isn't really much of a difference. -
So what would you say at least one difference is?
-
Wulf Community Admin
Basically nothing. Admin will have "quit" and "ownerid/moderatorid" access, and perhaps noclip, but other than that it's pretty much the same. -
Hi all , just got myself my own rust server ive got the plugins working but i cant get myself authorised as owner/admin, ive tried looking every where with no luck, the server is with nitrous networks can anyone point me in the right direction ,id be really greatful

Ok, that's weird then, thanks for the info.

ownerid <steamid64> "player name" "reason" - Sets player as a server admin with auth level 2
Then type
server.writecfg
To remove admin
removeowner <steamid64> - Removes player as owner
Then type
server.writecfg
For mod
moderatorid <steamid64> "player name" "reason" - Sets player as a server moderator with auth level 1
Then type
server.writecfg
To remove mod
removemoderator <steamid64> - Removes player as moderator
Then type
server.writecfg
Only use ownerid for yourself -
OK that's great , where do I have to write this and do you have to use all the arrows and so on, and just have reason in arrows to , and just type server right after all of that or under it sorry for all the questions
-
Wulf Community Admin
The arrows are just part of the placeholder, so no. The commands are console/RCON commands. -
Which file to I have to right this in
-
Wulf Community Admin
Not a file, an RCON tool or the server console. -
Thanks!
