Admin and moderators in Rust

Is the remove command still built into the standard rust commands for Admins, I have had no luck searching and the ones I do find report back as command not found?

 

Oh sorry, I poorly worded that. The remove option I was looking for is for removing/destroying previously placed items such as walls and building plan pieces. I have myself successfully added as an admin and have the F1 list available to me, but I see Rcon commands for a remove option online. Not sure if that is outdated now.

 

Yes, essentially. That's where I've ended up after hoping there was a built in system. Operating the Removal Tool has been a nightmare (I'm sure entirely my doing). I simply want it to work for the admin/owner and a simple true/false to turn on for moderator level with no access for player level

how do i remove owner from someone or where is the file located i could just delete the file and put a new and remake owners?

 

hi can some1 help plz , i have entred the oxide and the ownerid both into the rusty rcon but when inside the server i cannot use any permisions or anything in f1 pannel it all works outside game in rusty but there is plugins config in game and it keeps staing that i dont have the permisions

thats in users config and i am also added to oxide admin group

 

yes thank you i did it this morning and saved it but after server restart seemed to stop working even though had saved cfg , thanks for the quick response

 

When I do the ownerid command it says it works but i cant perform any commands. When I look in user.cfg nothing comes up. Is there anything i can input directly into user.cfg to get a direct conformation?

Is there a way to remove admin rights without restarting server? I am playing on my own server, without admin rights, to prevent abusing. If someone gives a hint to a hacker, i have to grant me admin rights to spectate. Is there a way to remove this admin rights without kicking 60 players from the server? Its not cool to write in the chat with green name, because the risk on a admin abuse shitstorm is huge!!!

But another question. What rights are defined with auth levels? i can see in console, if i join i have auth level 2. What are the differents in auth levels and how to change them?

 

There is only two auth level 2 for admins 1 for mods, but just add all permissions to the admin group you need, then add yourself to that group you don't need to be an admin to use them if you are in the admin group or you can also add the permissions to your user only, and stay in the player group this way, no one will know you have all permissions for the plugins as you will look just like a player some things you won't be able to do is fly and a few other things but you should be able to do enough to staff the server like a full auth level 2 has

 

Where can I see and edit the permissions? We have a "Vanilla" Server, so no mods or plugins. All I want is the access to spectate mode if someone call someone a cheater. Besides the spectating i dont want any admin profits. Wanna look and play like a normal server guest...
