You didn't save it, use "server.writecfg" like the first post mentions.

You'd need to use the correct format for the Steam ID, it's the one with all digits, not the STEAM_ prefix.

I'm not sure what you are talking about with "copy steam id", but if you use the right format it will work.

Mods have access to everything that owners have access to, there is no difference.

You can remove a moderator with "removemoderator steamid" in your RCON or console.

  6. Righ i have one problem, i have successfully logged in into Rcon console Rusy & RustAdmin. I have also successfully added owner id however the game itself does not see me as an admin, i am unable to use admin chat commands and since i am hosting on dedicated server i have also looked through all the files on the server and i cannot find "user.cfg". All i want to know is how do i make the game recognize me as an admin? so i can use chat commands

What is the exact command you used to add yourself as admin, and did you logout and back in once?

  8. Do you have the owners_list.json file in the data folder

    oxide.usergroup add Revox1337 admin

Which command are you trying to use in chat?

  10. I am using /up command which is an oxide plugin admin command which upgrades an entire building, but i have used other commands from Rust Wiki. And the only file which i have that has anything to do with admins or owners is AdminData.json however its empty and i am not sure how to script it to add my self as an admin if that's even the correct file. its found under the directory of : /server/server_identity/oxide/data/AdminData.json

I'm not sure which Rust Wiki you're thinking of, but if it's the one I am thinking of then it's outdated and you're using Rust Legacy commands.

As far as the owner permission goes, all I can say is to try again. Also make sure you use "server.writecfg" after adding admin so that they will persist between server restarts. Once you have permission, you should be able to run other Rust console commands such as "ownerid" and such from your user.

  12. Still nothing :/ i tried "inventory.give wood 1000" also Right shift + L - Shortcut for Admin noclip. I have indeed used "Server.writecfg" before however it still comes down to the game not recognising me as an admin which sucks as some plugins "kits" require admin to type chat commands to set and configure kits >.< Even from the Item list menu under F1 i cannot give my self items :(
