Admin and moderators in Rust

    The steps are in the first post for adding admin/moderators. For RCON setup, it's just a matter of adding +rcon.port "28016" and +rcon.password "whatever" to your server's startup script. The RCON port and password may already be set as well depending on your host.

    I figured out server.writecfg but I was told that "Rusty" The admin tool doesn't work on self hosted rust servers is this true? If not I had everything set in my launch script and entered everything in rusty but its still didn't connect.

    It works on any server that has RCON configured, even local. I use it for testing locally.

    Umm, well OK it might be that I havnt set up the rcon setting correctly or port forwarded something correctly but others can join I did write rcon.port 28016 , rcon.password test , rcon.ip 0.0.0.0 I even tried my wan IP for 0.0.0.0

    I has the same Problem, tried alot and than came the Lightning xD
    Rusty Settings:

    Config Name: what you want
    IP: 127.0.0.1 (because local)
    Port: 28015
    Rcon Port: 28016
    Passwort: something

    Save and connect -> it works now and i have full control ;)

    launchscript: RustDedicated.exe -batchmode -load +server.hostname "???????" +server.port 28015 +server.identity "???????" +server.seed 6738 +rcon.port 28016 +rcon.ip 0.0.0.0 +rcon.password "??????"

    ????= what you want there

    Hey. I've a problem.
    I've added my admin account " ownerid xxxxxxxxxxxx "MyAcount". It's good.

    But, when i'm trying to connect in game ' F1 = rcon.login PASSWORD' I can see this message : Invalid command.....

    Any solution please ?

    Please read the first post again. Rust has no rcon.login anymore, not since Legacy. You'll need to use a third-party tool, also mentioned in the first post.

    Ok. But, how can i use my plugins ? I'm owner in my config files ( cfg/users) but i can't use admin commands of all my plugins :/

    Some plugins use Oxide's permissions, not the owner/moderator auth levels. You'd need to check their Overview for instructions.

    There are instructions in the first post. The rcon.port, rcon.ip, and rcon.password need to be set like show.

    how do i turn it off? like i want to turn off moderatorid so when i am in game the name isnt green

    Remove yourself as a moderator else use a plugin that changes your name.

    I do not know where to put my post, me in a concern(marigold)!
    My waiter(server) destroys houses automatically when people do not connect.
    I would like to remove that but how can it be done?
