I have finally gotten around to do this.
The LGSM install worked, so all I have to do now is copy my oxide files into /home/rustserver/serverfiles/server/rust-server?

Yep, should definately work, as the identity folder is the (i guess) only meaningful folder.
Afterwards, before starting it, make sure you configure (edit settings in) your rustserver script accordingly to your needs, and check for duplicates of those settings in in your serverfiles/server/rust-server/cfg/*.cfg
Also, i've not been able to run two Rust servers at the time, due to a limitation of Rust i guess, so make sure the other one is closed first. I need to investigate that as multiple servers is very important to me, i wish i could make 2 or 3. -

Is the recent linux snapshot broken?
I can't install it - I moved it into the serverfiles folder and restarted my server (twice), but there was no Oxide folder (also tried to chmod everything - just for testing purposes).

No, it should be working fine. Make sure you are overwriting all files are not running any SteamCMD updates after installing it. -

Can anyone tell me if its already a solution available to compile the CS Script because there is a CSharpCompiler but I dont know how to use it right

There is nothing you'd need to do with it yourself, Oxide will use it as needed. Just make sure you have it set to executable with chmod +x. -

Make sure you are fully updated and that you copied all of the files over from the Oxide zip. -

I had the same issue with C# addons, i had to replace Oxide files properly.
See that : Solved - Rust server on Linux natively? | Page 4 | Oxide
Basically, extract the zip to a temp folder, then run mv -f * /home/user/serverfiles
Then restart
My script linked on that post allows you to do that automatically. -
Got exactly the same problem:
./CSharpCompiler: error while loading shared libraries: libmonoboehm-2.0.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Steps to reproduce:
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/OxideMod/Snapshots/master/Oxide-Rust_Linux.zip
Unzip, run ./CSharpCompiler
If i install the missing library that changes to:
Corlib not in sync with this runtime: expected corlib version 111, found 138.
Loaded from: mscorlib.dll -
See my message just up to yours. I had an issue where unzipping, or moving, or even copying using FTP didn't erase properly previous files.
I had to unzip in a temp folder, then move using mv -f

I did this on a completely brand new installed image. Unless oxide is now included with Ubuntu this cannot be the Problem.

I've found the solution: Oxide doesn't seem to respect the custom LD_LIBRARY_PATH I've set.
After I copied the libraries to rust_dedicated/RustDedicated_Data/Managed/x86 and rust_dedicated/RustDedicated_Data/Managed/x64 the plugins do compile now. -

As I mentioned on GitHub, the libraries are already included with each Oxide download, so if they weren't there before the install was incomplete. Library paths set by Oxide are the only ones it uses.
