That's a problem I'm trying to figure out. I need a method for the plugin to distinguish if the player pressed the "Respawn" button, or is just waking up.

I'm using this on my server and I really like it. I've adjust the CS file so that the players inventory doesn't get stripped down after reconnecting. The only item they wake up with is the shirt colour they're assigned to, everything else stays as they left it. I've set this up so users can create bases and work with the team if they choose to. One thing that would be great to see is a chat command to allow users to change teams by themselves, right now it's up to the admins to sort them out which can get tedious.
Thanks! -
Not letting players pick their team is intentional; I didn't want any imbalance to happen which will give one team an unfair advantage. -
I've not really changed too much, just used // to block out "player.inventory.Strip();"
The only other thing that would be great to see is to set the items up so they are done by the itemID, this would allow people to use skinned clothing items as well.
I understand it would make teams unbalanced, I'm using this to create a server which people can play on over a long period of time. Sometime's it may just be a few members on one side that's online. My servers a little slower in action than battlefield server and focus's on building, but I think this will work well to add a needed social side to the server. Playing as team's over a longer period of time, does mean people will switch from one team to another each time they connect to the server.
If there was a command that was done through the console similar to "tbf.assign" would be great, just aimed at switching to the opposite team, even switching to spectators would be handy for those who just don't want any friendly fire privileges, or could even become a third team. Could even be worth a buttery donation.Attached Files:

I think I can add another console command for that purpose, and have it enabled in config file.
Thanks for your modified file. -
Just going back on what I wrote. This is probably not as easy to do, but each time someone connects, it'd be great if they were assigned to the last team they were on, and each time they died they'd stay on the same team (some of this may already be the case) but just some extra thoughts. For now the console command would be great to have!
Thanks. -
Oh of course, since players can switch teams manually, it'd make sense not to change their teams when they reconnect.
EDIT: I'll call it Sandbox Mode.Last edited by a moderator: Oct 11, 2015 -
I've further adjusted the plugin.
Previously - When users would connect to the server, they would always teleport back to the pre-set spawn points for red/blue teams. If someone has built a base and slept there, the next time they log in, they'll spawn back to the red/blue team spawn points.
Changed - When a user connects, they will connect where they left from. It's only when someone dies, or has to press the "Respawn" button, that they will spawn back at the red/blue base.
I've also blocked out the section which removes a user from a team, when they disconnect from the server. This way allowing the player to stay on the same team after they die or disconnect. (This may cause some issues with the teams becoming unbalanced. so hopefully the fix you have to change teams will do the trick)
Thanks for great plugin, working a treat.Attached Files:

Great plugin!
Is there an easy way to configure to where each team has multiple Team specific items? -
We tried this plugin and setup the spawn database integration correctly with
- For Team One, save the spawn file as "tbf_t1_spawns"
- For Team Two, save the spawn file as "tbf_t2_spawns"
This is a freshly installed server with minimal plugins (4) at the time. We had this Teambattlefield plugin, kits plugin, spawns database, and stack size controller. Do you have any idea how to fix this problem?
I have seen the RPC Error problem before on another server with Zones plugin and you would just set the zone flags NoTp false and Eject false.
But since this teambattlefield plugin does not use the zone plugin I cant figure out what is causing the problem.
Any help appreciated very much. -
I have the samr ERROR. Please help us dear DEVELOPER -
I just added this to the description, and I'll repeat it here again:
This plugin is not longer supported. Feel free to modify/fix it on your own.
Thanks for understanding. -
