can i get a config with all the skins

 

You can get the basic one online and just add to it. I don't think anyone will give you a FULLY loaded Skin config.. You know how many hours it takes to find the skin for the item you want . Copy the ID. And then put it in!!!!!!! And thats 29 skins for every item.!!!!!!!! No easy ride here sir! You need to try at least.....then I'll help. If you have a problem......sorry dude. We all worked hard on our skins to just give it away.

 

Anyone else having an issue with skins taking forever to show up in the menu? Just a bunch of white boxes, it's never taken this long before.

 

Yes. Me to. Also any skins in the Loot Tables such as PresentLoot also appear white boxes. Or Kits. Any skins entered into the json's for items come out white. Eventually changing, or not changing at all. And if you take that white box and drop it on the ground. It spawns the item !!!!!!! Wierd man.

 

skinwarmup 1 command should solve all of your problems... The only problem is rust itself, it only loads skins when u see these skins on game scene and delete them when u leave game to save place on ur hdd.

We have all 33 skins (as of this writing) for the large storage crates but it only shows 30 (6x5) in the skins selection screen.

Is it possible to modify this so it shows all available skins in our list? Maybe allow the GUI to be scrollable if there are more than 30 skins available?

Edit: Another example, Semi auto has 39 skins available but can only show 30.

 

Man, all you need to do - search for the thread, where I already raised that question. But you didn't. Anyway - u can't increase capacity of the prefab, used as storage for skinned items. I solved problem by adding CUI buttons to manage pages of skins.

 

I added all available skins, because personally I have had very little, and not at all. Hopefully someone will come in handy, too much time and effort spent on the search for skins and edit config =)

you need to know the skin ID. But as far as I know, the skin does not change for it.

 

Your post offered no help to the problem since I am not a developer or know how to code for rust.

Changing storage capacity?

If the plugin author incorporated the functionality then it would benefit all who use this plugin and not just people who know how to add the buttons to the existing plugin. If you have a documented solution on how to do this, then great, I will follow the how-to. If not, then having the author add this would be ideal for everyone that wants to use it.

Man, this plugin is abandoned. For real. Look at the date it last updated. I will not share my version of the plugin, sorry, its only for my project. I think the only document I can share with u to help u solve this issue - is the Руководство по языку C# and also OXIDE API, which u can easily find by google search. Good luck.

is actually a good plugin this - was messing with it today.
Only downside is the max 30 per container and not able to scroll to new page if you add more.
Oh and its time consuming do the ids in Console Window but regardless it works fine and u can get some decent skins added if u take time to mess with this.

Just type in your Console: skin.add rifle.lr300 (then the code numbers at the top left of the Item you want in the Workshop. In Workshop. Click on the skin you want. Top left shows you the number of the skin. Put that in here where I am typing)

 

do u have to do the console - can we not just edit the json direct with new codes ?

For me....That was the Fastest way. Plus if you do it in .json you can insert entire lists at one time to each. Instead of each idividual one. It's great that you ask questions but alot of learning as a server owner...."Is Hit and Miss". Try your Idea!!! If it dosen't work. Try something else......And then when your ready to pull your hair out. Ask someone. Okay. It helps you to understand the Developers side of things also. We are a Community. And we help each other. PS. Always check when you enter a skin in the .json. That you do not have the same one Twice or more. In .json. It will not tell you. But in Console. It does tell you! So you could have duplicates. So double check every new skin insert. And only insert a total of 29 Skins. Any more. And you won't see them. Hope this helps you sir.
