i type /sil and then the url
but i cant see the image pls help

 

Hey everyone.
I love this plugin, I really do. it inspired me so much to build a whole little town on my server, my plan is to make it the starting base for every player.

...but my problem now: it happens that some signs disapear after a server restart, then the sign is just a empty one unlocked to edit.

Do you have an idea how I can avoid this? Already upgraded my server as I thought more performance and exclusive RAM will help, but it didn't.
Also, some of the signs seem to reapear after another server restart - as long as noone touched the empty ones during one server run (24h on my server).

Any advice is much appreciated!

I get red question mark on sign?
its says picture was loaded

 

A red question mark means, it can't display the image.
Might be wrong format (like .gif) or saved with an inverted codec, just try another file.
Also happens to me, if I try to add a picture to a sign I'm uploading the same moment and the upload isn't complete yet.

Hey Mate, is it possible to make animated .gif's available for admins ... would love that

 

If I may point to my problem once more, you think I can avoid empty signs by putting all the grafics to the server directory instead of loading them from the web?
Might this have any effect on the "final signs" once the image is loaded?

Really annoying if you have to fly around the island and fix 50 signs first, before you can start to do anything new.

Love the plugin ^^ Have a question, I use this plugin and when zone protecting a zone people still manage to destroy the picture from the sign. Any ideas? Also when the server restarts most of the pictures vanish.

hey I'm trying to upload pics onto sighs in game through the server by typing /sin s 1001636412.png but it
but it comes up with "you don't have permission to use this command", when I'm the server owner, How would i fix this??

 

it keeps telling me i do not have permission...i tried adding myself individually...as a specific group...neither work

 

I'm currently at work, but I'll upload screenshots when I get back home. I granted myself sil_URL and the canusecustomimg(sp?) Commands. I did it after adding myself to admin group and as an individual user. When i grant permission i get the acknowledgment thay it worked. I reload plugin and reconnect and still get the you dont have permission message. I'm having this issue with another plugin so I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong. But I have given myself permissions on other plugins with no problems so idk.

 

I used oxide.grant user "my name" sil_url

It says user "my name" granted permission: sil_url

I reload plugin, reconnect to server, and server.writecfg

Still says no permission

I also tried oxide.grant group "admin" sil_url after adding myself to that group...neither work

I also tried creating a new group called admins and adding myself to that and giving the permission. Still says I don't have permission

No matter how hard i try for this to work, i add groups, then grant them, then add myself to that group, but it just does not want to work i just get the words "You don't have permission to use this command"

nvm i fixed it lol one thing i did not try.

goto console and type

oxide.grantuser "myname" sil_url
and it worked!

 

Added a sign (using /sil URL), file was created in the game folder as expected and game crashed, but even after removing the image file for the sign and the whole signartirst plugin, when I or any other player gets close to the area where the sign is located, it crashes the game client.
