yes i verified the Oxide version with the one under the downloads. Same oxide versions 2.0.1732
-
The server you are trying to connect to, has not updated to latest rust build. Along with that is oxide update for mods to work..

That's an outdated version for last week's update. The latest is found in the notes on the Downloads page. -
ahhh ok thank you. Now when I download the new Oxide i just drop it into SteamCMD folder where the other version is right?
-
Wulf Community Admin
Yes, it goes in the same location where you originally installed Oxide. Overwrite all files when prompted. -
When overirghting the old files with the new ones. I can just launch my servers with the .bat files or is there other steps that i need to do?
Also if people are still looking where the new update is its right here

Not sure what you mean by that.
The script you wrote put the files one directory below where they should go. Where the files should have gone into C:/oxide, the script was written to install to to C:/oxide/server. Simply moving those files up one directory fixed the issue.
I assume that you run your rust server from the same folder that your Steam CMD runs from. The tutorial I followed had separate directories for both being in the root folder. -
