Yes, per the Rust changes to that function.
It is official, but see the note on the Downloads page.

There is a new Rust client so I assume there are rust server bits - will we get an Oxide update shortly?

MY oxide based server is not working any more.
I've updated rust, then unpacked oxide files over it. Server not starting, jsut getting stuck at around 75000 mb ram use -

Forgive me, as I'm just a bit new to this.
On the last update, I saw that I was to simply copy all the files out of the latest zip folder into my rust server directory and let it overwrite everything. Thing is that doing so locked up the server when running the .bat file to start it. Nothing happened except for a blinking cursor that went on forever.
Am I meant to be updating the server through Steam CMD first? -
Rust update is 1740 i still dont see it...

[DOUBLEPOST=1453416004][/DOUBLEPOST]Hey bud this will solve your problem OxideMod/Oxide ยท GitHub -
Are you running the server from your pc
-
I'd read elsewhere that you just copy everything in, but delete the bat and exe (I assume they mean start-example.bat and CSharpCompiler.exe) so I've tried that, and the server stops at "TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'ProtoBuf.StabilityEntity' from assembly 'Rust.Data, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'." -

No dont delete anything what is the install dir of your server will make you a auto updater then all you need to do is reinstall oxide but you will need to wait for Wulf to post the newest one before you update
You can use this one https://github.com/OxideMod/Snapshots/raw/master/Oxide-Rust.zipLast edited by a moderator: Jan 21, 2016 -
