Me and my brother bought a server and hooked it u but we cant do the kits i am the admin and hes owner it says neither of us have permission ive tried everything i really need help

 

First make sure you both have auth level 2 then read my post on page 324 if you still cant do it I have skype that I can give support on

 

So I've edited the data file to the correct settings. But now whenever I reload it my daily kit is deleted and the description for start is deleted as well.

 

how to i make sure we have level 2 auth

authlevel 2 is admin 1 is moderator and 0 is player if memory servers right.

To make someone an admin you need to do the following in rcon type
ownerid steamid64 "player name" "Admin"
then server.writecfg
then relog if in game
Do this for each member
There is no permission for the kit plugin unless you make a special kit if you read my post on page 324 you will see this

I use Notepad++ and validate at jsonlint.com. But I managed to get it working. I manually deleted all the murderer kits since I'm not using them anymore and reloaded BotSpawn after reloading Kits and it's working fine now. If I tried deleting them through chat they would remain and the changes made would be reversed(hide and NPC only). Not sure what I was doing wrong. Never ran into any issue like this before but I got it figured out now. I think maybe the bots were holding things in place and had to be reloaded to complete the changes? Probably could have just deleted through chat and then reloaded both plugins. But it was a lot quicker to just highlight and delete.

auth 2 for npc kits is wrong you just need to set the setting for the npc kit to true but you should watch the two videos on the overview the post I put on page 324 is kits for players only I never put any kits for npcs as I have never used that option before

Usage: grant <group|user> <name|id> <permission>
then that pops up

 

You need to remove <> and that pops up as you never put any permission. Have you read my post on page 324 yet?
