Reserved

What about adding feature to kick players with lowest connection time or highest ping when player with reserved slot joins the server?
It could reduce the needed number of reserved slots which are not used when there are no players on the server with reserved slot.

My sServer 120 slot

100 For player
20 for VIP
--------------------
100 For Player Queued
20 Not Queued.

 

It is not possible a player who is not vip.

stay in Queued.

If I put the plugin.
It is not possible to have more queue in my server.

@Wulf Any way to switch connected player with permission to the reserved slot to let normal player connecting?

Exemple : i got a server with 130 slots (30 reserved)
when i got 100 players (players with and without permission) all player get rejected if they don't have the permission, anyway player with perm can connect but if a player without perm leave, it won't make free slot for other because player with perm

I am on the same situation as CadaO

I got 2 groups on my server:
VIP & player

VIP have the perm then they can join the server when they want because of reserved slot. (i have setup 30 reserved slot)
I put 130 slot on server :
100 normal + 30 reserved.
My problem is that my vip is taking normal slot instead of reserved one.
I don't have queue because of free reserved slot.
So with that info, there is a way to put vip in this reserved slot instead of normal slot?

 

Is there a way to use this without appearing on the Modded tab?

 

How does rustafied do this then? I host a server and I want to use this as an option.

 

Wulf, I added the file directly to Oxide through Fragnet Game panel. Where do I go to see that the reserved player slots are assigned?

 

Just to be sure I 100% understand, this can be done through the in game control panel and the Admin tool?

 

What would happen if all reserved slots are occupied, but there are more players with the 'reserved.slot' permission granted to them than reserved slots and all are attempting to connect.

Example: 20 reserved slots, 25 whitelisted players. All 20 slots are full, and the remaining 5 players attempt to connect.
