  1. increase MaxDepth in config or give your NPCs shorter ways :p

    I increased in config maxdepth from 1000 to 10000, my npc dont use waypoints, and i have milions warnings spamming :
    [Warning] [PathFinding] Hit MaxDepth!
    Thats normal?
     
  3. I am having problems with maxdepth even after setting it to 100000 i have about 6 npcs in a rad town and when there getting shot and shooting the server starts to lag insanely and crash the server and spam maxdepth
     
  4. I'm getting the MaxDepth error as well. Some NPC's on my server have waypoints, some are stationary NPC shops. Raising the limit up to 5000 fixed the problem temporarily, but log spam and server lag resumed after a few minutes. I disabled my roaming NPC's, and the error stopped again. An hour later, and the error is again spamming my rcon log, but the roaming NPC's are still disabled. The only NPC's left are stationary with no waypoints. What gives?
     
  5. Yeah you're not the only one. I had gotten used to this message appearing every 5-10 minute or so for certain NPCs. I only have one who is walking around at the moment, and he's just spamming the hell out of max-depth. I also tried adjusting it, but I don't even really understand the concept of this "Max Depth" that well. Either way, when I set it low, it was horrible. When I set it high, It was horrible, when I set it somewhere in the middle it was a little less horrible. I went from 100 to 1000 to 10000 and now im back at 500 but its still spamming.

    EDIT* I Set it to 1000 for now and its sorta stable, not a lot of spamming happening. I will see and post back results.
     
  6. Getting the same error as you guys above, Some NPC's where stationary some Quest NPCS some Shop npcs and ofc some roaming waypoints npcs... The error spam in consol whas real, lags where only if NPC where moving, now I have like 10 NPC's - all stationary, half of them Quest NPC's and second half shop NPC's. Still getting this error, unloaded Waypoints, did help for about 5 mins, then the spam started again, reload PathFindings or HumanNPC did not help since the spam start all over again. The error is like this

    EDIT: Set in config MaxDepth: 1000 seems to work cause no error anymore
    EDIT2: Ok MaxDepth not helping, error is back but only spam's console, no lag or what ever so for now I made a filter for it so my console is not spammed, still the issue is there but all NPC's are working ;)

  7. It's a shame this and HumanNPC don't get more love from devs.

    So do you guys get many blocked waypoint error messages? I find they can pop up over the tiniest bump.

  15. Seems like something is wrong since the update. My NPCs don't act right. They are doing the standing there like they are not set to hostile and don't chase when attacked. Things like that. Before the update it all worked great as usual. Any ideas?
