the copy you did yesterday was working for me. so if i update, will it be ok? and plus i had assigned premission to default group. the other anoying part is how it stays red even though its placeable.

It could not have worked. Try seeing if you have requirepermissions flag set to false in your config. In that case it would have worked, but I even tried using the "default" group with requirepermissions set to true and no dice. It did not work.

Edit: YES!!! The permissions now work with "RequirePermissions": true!

 

You should update. The red cabinet is on the todo list. This is not easy to fix as the "guide" cupboard is client side. This will require some creative engineering to fix.

Read the overview in it's entirety. Influence is ignored when you use /cupboard and have IgnoreInfluenceRestriction set to true. The cupboard will still be red, but you can place as long as /cupboard is active. This will be cleaned up and adjusted in future versions.

I didnt have a issue before but at least my copy is still working fine even after this update.

What does it say after "RequirePermissions": in your config? True or False?

 

Oh i don't remember what I set that to. All that matters is that it works. I am glad theconezone came along and took this plugin over.

Then you didn't get the point. That is why I got a little annoyed with you. It was evident that you spent .0001 nanoseconds thinking about what I said before you decided to chime in with all kinds of useless suggestions, up to telling me to reinstall my whole server. Just GUISHOP took weeks to get all the items, NPC's, kits and all that stuff set up.
But that is beside the point. You don't remember what you set that to yesterday, and you are making suggestions that could set someone back big time. I can tell you settings I worked through 2 years ago, and I won't chime in to peoples questions unless I know what I'm talking about, what the exact question is, and fully tested my suggestion on my own server.

Hey, about your name and permissions, that is very very strange. The only time I ran into this, was when I "renamed" players, (say, the players who come into the server with Hitler somewhere in their name). Well, we found when we renamed players, the server only responded to them (for things like teleporting to them, or permissions) when we used their original name showing on their profile, or the Steam ID. I'm curious if you ever changed your name on the server with a plugin? Weird question I know, but also - have you ever deleted yourself from the ~/oxide/data/oxide.users.data folder? This would force you to give yourself all your permissions again, but I'd give that a whirl.

 

He updated the plugin. Issue solved. Never changed my name though.

P.S. on Oxide build 2.0.3281 (May 18, 2017) - Everything works fine!

 

Make sure IgnoreInfluenceRestriction is set to true. Better yet, delete your entire config and restart the plugin.

If this doesn't fix it let me know and I'll try on updated oxide.

 

is there a way i can make this plugin so people can just place cupboards overlapping eachother without having to type /cupboard??

 

No, not at the moment. I have this slated (optionally) for the next version as well as toggle functionality for the command.

Enabling such a feature could cause lag on heavily populated servers, which is why it will be optional.
