  1. Now that bots and loot are back in play i'm starting to deal with Aggression_Range. I want very challenging, well geared bots and i had them pretty well balanced before. Aggression_Range really has complicated things. I'm experimenting with setting around 60 - 100. What's everyone else using?

  2. working fine without any problem since the last update you shared on reply @Steenamaroo

  3. The way BotSpawn is doing it can only reduce range from default. It can't increase whatever the default range is.
I.E - setting it to something large like >100 will effectively be the same as it was before.

  4. Steenamaroo updated BotSpawn with a new update entry:

    1.3.5

  5. Do we need to wipe the config ?

  6. I've tried updating and the config is the same as the previous version. Are the new options in the config file?

  7. Great update mate :)

  8. even underlined it.... ;)

  9. Yes wipe everything including data file - re do your config :)

The invisible show more button strikes again ;)

  10. There are new config options, and at least one old one has been removed.
Full wipe would be easiest/best approach.

  11. Hello There, Thank you for the mod, Though I was just having some troubles in getting the NPCs to work properly. I am a local-Hosted server that I am using to Mess around with friends on. I have updated to the latest version, deleted Config and Data and re-installed.

I used to get kicked with the line "RPC Error in OnProjectileAttack" each time I killed a scientist NPC, which was rather aggravating, though somehow I managed to 'Fix' it in a way that only kicks me every 4-5 scientists I kill, with the same error.

Directly under the line of me being kicked, In console, There is the error "NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Any replies would be greatly appreciated. :)

Edit: It is only Certain NPC's, not the Number of them.

  12. Strange. I had this for a brief period with Murderers when they were first introduced, but never Scientists.
I believe it was addressed by an oxide update, at that time.

I did a fair bit of bot killing yesterday, working on the last update, and saw no error.
Could it be another plugin causing issues, or that oxide isn't up to date?

  13. I very recently installed this server, perhaps 5-6 hours ago, so unless there has been an oxide update, It must be one of the other addons, though I am not sure which. I am not very experienced in this. Sorry! :)

Also it only seems to happen with bullet weapons, I have edited nothing but the "active" value of the launch site. Might be worth noting that some Scientists do not spawn with Firearms, and only Blades. If I could help in any way please let me know.

  14. It's OK, no worries.

    The easiest test is probably
    Code:
    oxide.unload *
    to unload all plugins
    then
    Code:
    oxide.load BotSpawn
    to load BotSpawn.

That leaves BotSpawn as the only loaded plugin. If you still have the error in that setup, please let me know.

  15. I did as you said, unloaded all plugins and re-loaded BotSpawns but it still had the same occurrence, it was worth a try, Haha.

  16. Damn...
Does this happen with default scientists? I.E. kit = "default" ?

  17. I would guess so as I have not modified or tweaked any of the kits in the Config or such, only the Launchsite Active, so that I could spawn the NPC's. I expect it's something silly I messed up previously, but I don't have the knowledge to figure it out!

  18. Struggling here. :(
Anyone else getting kicked with RPC error?

  19. All good here fresh install hand tweaked config same as i poisted last page

  20. Thanks @VinylFresh
@Vanilla Karbs - what custom parameters do you have in your startup script?
Don't paste it all; Your RCON password is in there.
