Since this update the plugin has changed my plugin settings by making the "kit" line drop down on each of the monuments ? is this a deliberate change ?

Scientist bots seem to have inherited the behavior from the new Compound scientists that just stand around and look at you if you get close, they seem to have lost all their roaming.

Our Murderer style are roaming fine, scientist type arent, only from yesterday. So it's not BotSpawns fault but it seems to be the AI changes brought in by the compound ones. -
I'm not seeing this myself.
Maybe your guys have a skin/weapon/item that's causing problems?
I'd test with no kit to confirm. -
I have mine to NORMAL (not murderers). No kits, no weapon drop. Nothing special.
I have found that yesterday my kits were not working right so it reverted to normal loadout which works fine. -

Bots are only shooting when they get super close
will it work if i go back to 1.5.7 or 1.5.6, before they got all timid and weird ?

Took the kits off my airfield ones and they're acting the same way, they just look at you and turn if you move but they dont do the roaming they were doing previously, I thought maybe theyd changed something with the ai dormant feature but nope, tried em with it on and the same thing

Ok, I'm seeing the issue.
This must be something Rust has introduced because I'm seeing the same thing with 'spawn scientist'.
The only difference is that you have to be vanished to observe it with them.
The only reason we can see it (without Vanish) with BotSpawn, is because there's a peacekeeper mode.
Anyway, something is telling bots to stand still when they have no target.
I'll try to find out what's changed. -
