  3. Hi guys..cant find..but my server is everytime giving me this (kind of annoying)

    Start generating cover points
    Finished generating 52 cover points in 0.7060547 seconds

  4. That's a debug.log that FP have in right now.
    I don't think I can override that but they'll probably remove it once the AI is released properly.
     
  5. After my test, I found that the larger the map, the more boring the robot response
     
  6. The robot response is realy bad with the latest BotSpawn update 1.0.9
    im running a 4k map and the bots only fire at you when you are like 1 meter near them...
    the update before this one the response was way beter..

    maybe just a request but i think this will work better with ZoneManager to keep the bots in 1 area.
     
  7. This firing rate issue is not something I have experienced or can explain.
    I guess you guys all have some common server setting or interfering plugin.

    When your servers are empty can you all
    oxide.unload *
    oxide.load BotSpawn
    oxide.load Kits (optional)
    then test

    If the issue disappears then there's some plugin interfering.
    If it doesn't, some server setting or other variable is interfering.

    I recommend disabling Ignore_Animals while testing.

    I'm I'm wrong, I apologise, but I can't think of any reason that firing rate would work flawlessly on my servers throughout all versions, and not for a few of you guys.

  11. We should compare plugins @Steenamaroo, although unloading them makes no change in fire rate. So server settings seem appropriate to blame. Im glad Im not the only one experiencing this.

    I've noticed this. ever since the Bot_Firing_Range was requested but cant pin it to it just yet. Can a On/Off toggle be put in place for this @Steenamaroo
     
  12. Hello. 1rst thx for this excellent plugin. 1) Can we arm a bot with a rocket launcher, grenades or a knife? 2) Why do bots leave bags after their corpse disappears? Can not we change that?

    Yes, you can arm the bot with rocket launchers but they won't use melee weapons.

    I don't know about the bags - I don't play rust much these days and assumed that was just a new thing for all players. Is it not?
     
  14. I am not sure what is happening. The botspawn plugin was working fine previously, i ran a restart to change the kit of the bot, and now they will not show up? I have tried completely re-installing the plugin, restarting, etc. Any ideas?
     
  15. The problem started when you changed the kit so change it back and test.
    I'd guess you typed the new kit name wrong?
     
  16. Im sure you have alot going on but you can check it out if you'd like @ Rustyspoon hostile lands.
    i have a mass amount of bots running around and im sure its laggy at times but noone is complaing. when you join the server all you hear is shit going wild at night.
     
  17. tested spawning scientists using "spawn scientist" in F1 console vs using BotSpawn. The fire rate of the bots spawned by the actual command was faster. So I don't think its a setting on my server at all. FYI

    Also, BotSpawn isn't spawning bots at all now, even when reloaded. But I can obviously spawn them in using the console.

  20. Well, you can't get it to work and I have no suggestions.
    I don't mean it in a rude or dismissive way - I just can't help, that's all.

    Maybe, in time, I'll find something in the code causing a problem but unless I can recreate the issues, that can't happen.
