Do I need to edit the plugins for to stop them relating betterchat.moderator?

 

Looks like im having an issue with this plugin generating a config file. What can I do to make it do so.

 

Stop server delete groups data file upload and over write then start server if it does not work pm me

This may have been covered before but ill attach my better chat config file. I am trying to add v.i.p+ to the server, my vip works but for some reason my vip plus will not work when I do the command it will say "there is no group called SMIRKER" it seems to be thinking my name is a group. When I try this with the working ones; vip, mod etc it works fine. What is wrong in here?

Hi Lazer, two request:

1. Groups - can I create groups so if you are in that group you only see chat from those people. I want a kids zone and if the kids are in the group with parents they can see each other chat but not the general chat. that would mean I need to be able to also be in the General Chat group as well.

2. Max chat per minute - I have some players who start long rants and so having the ability to say you can post 10 messages per minute max would force them to take it offline to a /PM Channel (another mod)

I transferred host and now better chat doesnt work i transferd all data files but when i try to grant permission it says invalid permission im using

betterchat.owner as in the config file its set to permission owner

Thats planned for the future. For now you could use Chatmute, which is supported by BetterChat and already has that feature.

 

Can you please consider making the word filtering so that case is not important?

 

Not sure what's going on, I made myself admin/owner and my chat tag and colours changed, but I've now made someone else admin/owner as well and it's not changing their tag or colour?

 

Did you do the server.writecfg after you made yourself admin

 

No, I'm not sure what you mean by that either. It gave me the chat tag and colour automatically so I assumed there was nothing else needing to be done, but now it's not giving my friend his chat tag and colour.
