chat user groups (Name or ID) doesn't seem to work for me in console or chat. Is it broken or am I doing something wrong?

 

LaserHydra could you please fix so that i automatically doesnt get all groups upon a login? cause everytime i relog, or login at all on my server:
i get default, admin, vip and owner at once and i have to remove all but owner everytime i login, kinda annoying

 

Oxide does that, though I am pretty sure you are not automatically added to "vip".
All players are automatically added to "default", and admins are automatically added to "admin".

 

is there a way to prevent it?

 

No, though BetterChat has the "HiddenIfNotPrimary" feature, which hides the title of the group if you are in another group with a higher priority.
To use the setting, make sure you have the priorities set correctly (a group with highest priority should have a lower number than one with low priority).

 

tho, i will still automatically be put in that group... but the title would not be visible. Tho, the name color will change to the titles below "owner" so
i'd have to remove em anyway each login..

 

If you set the priorities correctly, that wont happen. All other settings are only used from the primary group (the one with the highest priority)

 

did everything as told to do in description of the plugin , still will revert players to default and admins back to player titles etc .
this plugin is broken please update .

You also need to set this to true for each group
"HiddenIfNotPrimary": true

Hello, i have an issue with the better chat plugin. The issue is when i gave my self the Group [Owner] and removed the [Player] group also called default, then after a restart of server the default group is getting back.

Yep, I literally want the title colored but the brackets in white.

EDIT: NVM GUYS! I didn't know you can just do it at the Text option there lul, welp.

hi man love the plugin, have been using it for a while.

Could you add the option to disable the plugin console messages? I would like to see the chat seperated from the console messages in my rcon tools for a better overview. I hope it is possible.

 

Where would the file to do this be at in the data folder?
