Will this plugin enable me to fill in my last line in chat by pressing the "up" arrow?
It drives me nuts not to be...

should be fixed clans with updated in the support thread to include the clans as it handled by clans plugin no longer from BetterChat

hey today i installed this plugin and made my Admin prefix infront name but i got player prefix infront name too so it looks like [Admin][Player] TweeTy any clues how to fix this and have only [Admin] TweeTy?

 

Go to data/BetterChat.json and remove the "Player" in the line 6 (Text)

 

i did what u said now it looks like this but i still have player infront of my name

 

Just remove the Player

thats how it should be

and then reload the plugin

 

In chat do /chat user remove (username/Steam id) (groupname) which is "default" for players. Then try and save server. I was having that problem. Seems the go back when server restarts sometimes.

 

You are all wrong you need to set the priority for each group and set this to true "HiddenIfNotPrimary": true
If you took the time and looked over this topic you would see its been posted many times so stop being lazy and do the work and if you dont want the group to show at all set this true "Hidden": true,
Its really not that hard to work out

 

Actually, for the default you should have it set to always hide if you don't want to use it, save priority for the groups that matter.

 

@LaserHydra We need BetterChat Filter on servers where a lot of school age bullies... My eyes are bleeding when they write about their sexual experience with moms.

Hi Potentially silly question, i have added myself to the admin group and when i talk it shows up twice, i have ensured i am not in group default/players any ideas thanks

[EDIT] Found out the issue was a conflict with coloured names

 

Which regex are we supposed use with Rustadmin? Ive tried both that it gave me and neither seemed to work.

It is not broken. RustIO clans just did not add support for BetterChat yet. I posted a version which works with BetterChat in the support thread a while ago.
