Guys how can i implement clans into betterchat ? The old questions couldnt help me.

 

ok so, i browsed the forum and found posts about clan tags and people wanna know how to change color on it and other things.
here i am stuck on how do i even get clans tag to show up in betterchat?

I'm getting this error since the Rust update, if anyone can identify the mod causing it would be great, I'm guessing BetterChat but I don't know, Don't want to go deleting and re-adding mods to find the root of the error. This may not be the right place to post this. :/

When someone write on the chat i have this error on the server console.

And the CLAN tag don´t appear with the new version. It will be back?

 

When to the player I give group vip at it color of a name does not change
Earlier worked, when the person passes in group vip at it color of a name changed.

If the plugin is installed, my clan tags from Clans (Rust:io) doesnt show up. Is this configurable or do I have to deal with it? would rly like to use this plugin

 

I have the same problem, seems like last update caused this, anyone know how to fix it ?

 

/ignore command works, however, the function itself does not. Players still see chat messages entered by /ignore'd players

Lots of questions about getting clan tags to work with the latest version of BetterChat. I've run some tests and have good news and bad news.

There are THREE clans plugins that I know of, and TWO of them support clan tags with the latest version of BetterChat.

Rust:IO Clans by dcode - Does NOT support clan tags in the latest BetterChat.
Clans by k1llyou - DOES support clan tags in the latest BetterChat.
Clans Reborn by Fujikura - DOES support clan tags in the latest BetterChat. (And IMO the better of all three.)

The problem would appear to be that if you're using Rust:IO clans, you don't get any clan tags. Until dcode updates Rust:IO clans to support the latest version of BetterChat, you're not going to see them.

So stop asking LaserHydra to update BetterChat as there's nothing wrong with it. Instead address all your requests to the Rust:IO Clans support thread and you might get your problem resolved.

OR, use one of the other two clans plugins. Problem solved.

 

how can i associate these groups with rust's group systems? i have a group i made with permissions for a donator kit but i just need to have the name tag auto perm to the player as soon as he/she is assigned to the VIP group

 

Whenever I remove myself or someone else from a group it's always added back once I leave the server and come back on anyway to stop this from happening?

 

This is EXACTLY my issue. I continue to remove myself and my VIPs from the Default group every time they leave the server and rejoin.

 

You can not remove your self from the default group it will always add you back and if you set up your betterchat right you will only be seen in the admin group when you chat in game

 

alright I guess i'll have to play around with it more.
