Strange, for the last few hours since or most recent restart, BetterChat has something happening that causes keys to not "disengage" while you're typing something into the chat bar. For instance, while I'm typing now every time I press a linked key like my ent.kill hey and noclip keys toggle those features. When any of us type an "m" while we're writing, the map opens up. Any ideas?

 

That is most likely caused by the latest Rust update itself.

all groupnames need to be in English not like this "GroupName": "ИГРОК",
and make sure each one has a different Priority you have many groups set to 5 and the default group needs to be the highest
I fixed most of it but no idea what this one is meant to be in English so you need to change it make sure all lower case

created an admin group with specific chat color. removed player from default group and added to admin group but name color stays as if i was in default group.. what am i doing wrong?

Thanks dude. So, if i was to create a donator group then i would make the priority value lower in order for it to show up on players or does this not factor?

 

Any chance having peoples levels added to better chat if enabled in config?

 

Im trying to edit the chat but im not admin, grant user <player> <permission> in console seems to work, but what do i put in the <permission> bit?

 

if your trying to add yourself, put in your steam ID under <player> and betterchat.admin under the <permission> tag.

For for me i would put

grant user 76561198208742489 betterchat.admin
