my server didnt start until i remove betterchat plugin. is betterchat outdated.

betterchat is not outdated - its universal plugin, and was fixed and yes on my servers and on other servers of other people it works, are you sure you have lates oxide, latest patch on your server and latest BetterChat?

 

Mine was working today and I stopped the plug in and now I can't get it started again. No matter what I try it just doesn't load it.

 

have you restarted the plugin? or deleted it and added it again?

 

I've restarted it and the server. I've redownloaded the past 3 versions of better chat and put them in, restarted the plugins and the server. Even using fresh json files it just doesn't load it. Even using the Reload plugin that reloads all plugins at once, doesn't see betterchat when I specify it.

 

I even use 4.1.13 and it works

Could someone help me real quick. I think I set this up right but I dont know anymore... What Im trying to do is have it set so that I'm in group Owner but have permissions as an admin... I thought I had it set up right but I dont know anymore.

Owner and admin should have should have auth 2, moderator auth 1 and the rest auth 0.
I want VIP to show up no matter a players group if its given to them.
Moderator should remove Normal or Player.
Admin should remove Moderator, Normal or Player.

I dont want players dropping airdrops on themselves while Im sleeping XD

 

I renamed your normal group to default as it should be also fixed many other things wrong with it. I left your vip group HideIfNotHighestPriority to false so it will show with default group when you give it to them or whatever group they are in
