Better Chat [Replaced]

I'm not sure the prefixes/colors were working fine for 10 minutes then they just stopped working.. The groups still work i can add myself to a group but there are still no colors/prefixes.

 

I used /grant user myname 4 to set myself as owner and it registered the command but when I type in chat nothing has changed.

I have tried /grant user name color_vip and nothing happens.

 

I'm keep receiving. I removed the .cs and .json file multiple times, even redownloaded the plugin a few times. I have restarted my server. This is what shows up when I install the BetterChats.

I understand that this plugin and kits are completely different but is there a way to dedicate a kit to a "VIP" group. Lets say you make a custom VIP group could you dedicate a kit to it or are they completely separate?

Either you are having a very outdated server or you have installed the Hurtworld BetterChat on a Rust Server.

I edit for colors and title, like owner to admin and red to orange but nothing change in game... I have reboot the server and save the files.

What does this mean and how do i do it?

 

If you grant the permission 'betterchat.formatting' to yourself, you can change the color and size of what you write.
For example
<color=red><size=30>Hello </size></color>

 

thanks, is there any reason that there was no betterchat.json in my configs? that may be my problemo

 

Take a look at your console or logs if you find any compile errors rekated to Better Chat.

 

Having some issues with the plugin. On first install it worked fine, had the owner tag and players had that awful blue color. Just fine, so I thought I'd edit the blue to yellow so it's easier on the eyes.

It worked for my own name (owner) but players remained blue. Then after typing a command (something to add color_player) it all broke in a sense, and reverted to default hurtworld chat.

@obble same thing happened to me been looking for a fix for a week and no one has a fix to it ;/
