How to remove permission from one player?

 

U should create new group and assign permission to it, not to group default, so then u can remove one player from it, and other player will still have permission

 

It should not be, I wish the permissions were removed as expected
if I delete or move the player to another group he lost VIP

all players in the grupe default

 

You can assign permissions per player or per group. assigning to groups is the easiest way, like wazzzup said.
Or take the time to individually assign and unassign each player a permission.

default, moderator, admin are the base game groups that are default when you start the server. (as you should already know this)

adding extra groups allows you to assign the "added" groups permission then adding/removing players to those groups which will not affect any of the default game groups.

the way I have mine setup allows me to set up a group with permissions, example

default: base mods that have permissons,
Moderator: admin mods + auth lvl 1
admin: admin mods + auth lvl 2 which is for me the owner.

vip: the mods permissions you don't want players to have access to if they aren't in the group.

I have 3 lvls of vip, which the group "default" and "moderator" cant access unless they purchase.

VIP 1: basic vip permissions
VIP 2: better vip permissions
VIP 3: ultimate vip permission

Also, the guys on my server immediately found a way that this could be exploited since it drops a small stash and you die on a foundation you can now hide the stash in a foundation, been trying to find the thing that drops in the cs file but everything points just to slot size when i look for stash. Wanted to change the item that drops on death into a small box or ration box but couldnt find the asset entry to determine what drops.

changed that and it didnt change anything, after what i just had to go through to stop my player glitching after messing with it i think i'll leave it heh

 

When you change the config option did you reload the plugin as changing anything in the last two settings will work

You said players are dropping their packs on death did you not then the settings would stop that if that is wrong then explain then the coder can help because if I understood what you said from your above post is wrong then so will everyone else

Changing it in the config needs you to relog to get it working.

Sorry, I mean that I have no evidence of the plugin working. after installing it, no backpacks are available. I've reloaded the plugin and tried reinstalling it, no backpacks available and no error codes, i'm new, is there a command I need to do in order to activate it, or a permission I need to give everyone in order to allow them access it?

 

The author did already describe it

Permissions:

• backpacks.use - required for using a backpack
• backpacks.admin - required for /viewbackpack command

If the players drag a weapon into their backpack, the weapon will be unbreakable. When they open the backpack again and drag the weapon into the inventory the red bar gone.

Hello, i am from germany. My english isnt the best. Say me how can i activate the backback? We have installed a Server and Oxide + the Backpack Plugin. But when i press B nothing happend. Do i have to type in something in my console? Or do must the admin activate it too somewhere? Greets
