Only just seen this post, sorry!
That seems like a very odd bug!
The message means someone is attacking a block in the designated area for the Grand Exchange (which would have been marked out by an admin).
Does it tell you how much damage the axe did to the block?
Do you have any other block protecting / altering plugins running?

Each time I update the newest version I have to type /markremoveall in chat so players can use the store again anywhere. Otherwise it comes back saying they have to be at the grand exchange building which I do not use.

oh and I also get the message saying do not attack the grand exchange when hitting blocks outside crest areas

Removing that message is an easy task. Let me do that for you first, just to stop people getting fed up with them!

Scorpyon updated The Grand Exchange with a new update entry:
Removed GE message on blocks

Awesome! no more messages
had to use the /markremoveall command again to allow access to the shop anywhere. Is this just me or is it by default using a building? -
I am trying to teach myself how to make plugins, but it is not that easy. I am a web designer (got a degree in IT and all) and while I understand (and use) JS, this has the tendency to confuse me. I feel that I know enough to mess things up .. lol
Trying to learn all the hooks in the code is the starting place for me. -
TNX FOR your plugins!
I will regularly send you a small donate amount of =)

They certainly help keep the development (and enthusiasm) up! ;-)

I'm a web programmer myself - C# is the language you want to get your head around (or Lua which is a more functional language, but C# will do you better if you can put your mind to it). Sounds like you have the ability with your degree etc! :-D ) -
Scorpyon it seems gold is saved via name and not UUID or Steam64, I used a potion of appearance to change my name and no longer have any gold. I also noticed that when an item in my shop sold I was not credited for the sale either.
Edit: This seems to have also broken my shop to where I cannot add new items too it. Assuming the plugin is just seeing me as an entirely different person now. -
Ok, I'll definitely look into this asap!
I guess, because I'd never bothered with the potions in game, they never came to mind.
I'll probably have to re-write the gold and player store saves with teh Player ID instead if possible! -
