I would wipe it. I delete storage.db each month on dev wipes. I havent seen the error since.

 

what does the storage.db file store?

 

From my current expirence, Wiping the storage.db file removes the following.

Map Buildings, Player location data, inventory, Sign Artist, player name information, some other random info from addons like who owns what buildings

Ina few minutes I will know exactly.

 

ah ok so maybe a good idea to only delete this when we do a wipe then...

 

Its nearly impossible to edit the files while the server is running., On my server they get written to every second. You can only view and possibly edit a line. If you spam the heck outta the save button when making an edit it will process

You just point the sign and get close to it... all there is.

this one worked but not any I try from my sites is there a good place to store them maybe that is the issue I tried my google one drive and my server tells me I cant acsess them when I put them in a folder there maybe just were they are at

Getting this too even after unloading sign artist. I did just wipe my server by reseeding but its never happened before.

since last rust update when we do sil it lags out and kicks us from the server its done it once befre in an update

 

yes had the same issue on my server. found that a player made a cool 400 sign gallery with pictures. Every time someone was close enough to start initially loading the pictures, console was spammed with SV_requestfile and server lag.. lol

I have the same issue as well, since the small update yesterday i get timewarning error in console and massive lag on server.. It was running real smooth just before this latest update. Needs a solution asap

 

Weird, everytime i do /sil <url> I get kicked from the server for being unresponsive and nothing appears on the sign
