Setting up a Rust server with Windows

And the previous version was win server 2008 R2 x64 in what there were problems haven't found it was necessary to experiment with OSes

Hi guys) Ask to Oxide developers) I'm starting an old good Rust server from me and my friends (with client seeding) like a 1179 version (from 16/01/2015) - it's a Rust Exp with most beautiful graphics before new ugly Unity)) Pleeease maybe somebody have an Oxide to this version?) If i remember - it's a 105 or 107 version) 120 is better) Thanx)

 

O.. It's a not good) I am seeking for this Oxide for a week) I was asked many players from my server - many players don't like a modern graphics and nature in today Rust versions) And many players has left a server and Rust Experimental. Google cache etc will helps me I hope) Thanks for an answer)

 

Noonono I am not about graphics like a quality etc)) My Radeon R270X playing higest quality) I am about nature and looking of a world of Rust) Old engine was.. more and very more beautifully - I was started a server a 1 week ago (v1159 for example) and I was very wondered by this fact) Yes water was not such green and naturelly but.. It was endless world with glassy lakes, and many bioms - desert (with heat and SAND and PLAMS!), snow, summer and autumn forests, tundra forest) And when I looked on the forest - I saw the FOREST with many beautiful trees) What we have now?) No snow, no desert.. only grass with a pair of trees) Some less grass on the "desert") Some more grass on the "green biome") All writen higher - IMHO) Try to start an older versions (not newest than 25.01.2015 - then new interface and Unity Engine) and you will see it)

now it shows im connected but cant find the server online in rust grrrrrr

 

In the servers file structure, navigate to ....RUST Server\rustds\server\Oxidation Nation\cfg
In that folder there is a file called "server.cfg"

Edit that file to set up most of the basic server info. It can be edited with NotePad or NotePad++

My servers have been running for months and they still dont show up in the browse. The server browser is still a bit of a joke.

C:rust\server..steam..start.bat..update.bat..update.txt
then in server folder

i have notepad ++ just need to know what i have to put in there

i dont have a server.cfg in my config folder so summat is wrong somewhere

i did the server.cfg and ran the bat file and shows online but when i got f1 console and type in client.connect 0.0.0.0
it says "your already connecting or connected to a network"
the server is up but how do i load it up if its saying that.
please help

nope still the same thing happening mate

the server is live somewhere just wish i could connect to it
its proper mashed my brain

rusty control panel has connected with my ipv4 address

so getting somewhere just need to connect now the server through F1 console...

 

if you mean on my pc yeah
my gaming pc i was gonna run server 24/7 off it

its looking more and more likely that i cant run a server off my gaming pc
ive tried everything i can think of now.

what do you think the problem could be with not letting me connect to the server i created.
