1. When I extract the latest Oxide 2 built to my "Rust_Server" folder where RustDedicated.exe is located i don't get any messages about overwriting. It just added all the files directly and when i start the .bat file It just appears as it did before. Please help!!!

Hey man, Looks like I have the same problem that you had. I see you have to make sure you aren't running a validation or an update. I have checked the page 42 and 43 but I still dont know what I should do to make the server not run a validation or an update

Make sure you copied ALL of the contents of the zips, including the folders and files in them. For the validation thing, just make sure your startup script or command-line does not have "validate" or "autoupdate" in it.

Blueprint wipe, sign wipe, 21 hooks flagged; not quite normal. ;)

  10. Go go powerrangers!

  11. Hey guys, I'm new to oxide and I need some help in adding it to my server. If someone could give me a detailed explanation of how I could add Oxide into my dedicated server files that'd be great! I'm currently using Oxide 2.0.1185

EDIT: I've found the way to install but I need help in installing plugins please!

  12. I've tried doing the steps in that thread but there isn't any oxide folder in my server_identity folder. The only folders I have are save and cfg.

  13. I use a rust server host for my rust server, and I have to use their updater to update the oxide. Somehow on the rust server host it says I'm running oxide v2.0.1260, Even though the oxide downloader states its only at v2.0.1257 haha, but since the oxide update, I seem to no longer be able to place high external walls on my server anymore, any particular reason why?

  14. 1. Could you show me your bat file?
    2. Oxide folder is under the save folder for legacy.. thats why i told you that the difference is that the files are not located at the same place.

First... are you wanting to run a Legacy server or an Experimental server? You posted under Legacy, but are showing screenshots for Experimental.

They use the latest GitHub snapshots, which is fine. The issue you are having isn't from Oxide as far as I know.
    See http://oxidemod.org/threads/cant-place-outter-walls.10886/.

  17. @PaiN Here's my bat file.

@Wulf I'm pretty sure I'm hosting a legacy server. Sorry I'm still new to these server hosting.
