it was just their slow systems. it was running an older version of oxide when updating

  2. New version detected (no -autoupdate switch so not closing)

  3. Hey Wulf. I extracted Oxide into my directory with RustDedicated.exe. I run my server, however Oxide fails to load. No sign of it in the console. Also, it doesn't make the 'plugin' or 'config' or 'data' folders inside 'my_server_identity'. Any idea? I have the most update to date Rust server version, and the most up to date Oxide. Any help would work wonders, please.

  4. I have had the same problem yesterday, You have to make sure you aren't running a validation or an update. You can read it on page 42 and 43 in this topic.

  5. Server wont start after this Experimental server side update (10 mins ago) with latest Oxide.
    Starts without Oxide...ETA on fix?

  7. This was a server side only update..im regretting updating it..vanilla right now. Wulf if you can be so kind and post somewhat of an ETA on fix ...that would be super.

  8. Just finished the update, you can now find it in the download section :)

  9. AHAH you guys rock. Eternal Respect.

  10. Are the info on githug page in oxide section are full? Not needed insert dll's from fresh updated server to directory of oxide source files & then compile?
    Thx

The readme for compiling your own build is complete. What are you trying to do?

  12. For example - after every update on thirthday and update server & sources of oxide compile it

Compiling Oxide isn't needed, updates do not affect it generally. What you'd need to do is use our patcher tool and manually fix any hooks changed, which generally happens with most larger updates.

  14. My server says: Oxide Version: 2.0.1232, Rust Protocol: 1301

I have downloaded two steam updates just recently today and there are no more queued up. Every server I try to join says wrong protocol.... any idea why?

Are you on a development branch? There haven't been any Rust updates for the past day. The current Rust release protocol is 1301.

  16. I have it set on development - latest updates. What should I have it on?

You shouldn't have any branch selected, None, or Public.

  18. I changed it to opt out of all beta programs....I'm kinda confused. Are we talking about the beta tab in Rust properties?

Yes, make sure you do not have any beta (branch) selected if you want to join a 1301 server. That's the only way you'd be getting the message, as your server shows it as being on the release/public branch.

  20. ok, it's working after I change it. Thanks!
