The update works is just fine.
-
Be sure to stop the server when uploading new files or some might be "locked" as they are in use.
Regards -

Run SteamCMD or the method your host provides to update the Rust server, then make sure the server is stopped and upload the latest Oxide files from the latest zip for today's update. -
this update comes with wipe too?i updated my serevr and all the bases from the map were wiped and players items..
-
Wulf Community Admin
The Rust update wasn't a forced wipe, hosts may still wipe though automatically. -
So there is a compatible build for the update coinciding with Devblog 70?
(How do I keep track of the most recent build and which version it's compatible with?) -
I used steamcmd before so what is the update command again
[DOUBLEPOST=1437671930][/DOUBLEPOST]is it start steamcmd login anonymous then
app_update 258550 or do i need to type the
force_install command first -

The latest released build on the Downloads page, it's dated with today's date. -
No wipe here, my Camp is still there and I also see plenty of houses of players...
Did you change anything else during the server offtime?
Regards -
i didn t change anything..
-
Also if i want to save a base what files do I need to save then replace after the update
-
Wulf Community Admin
You don't need to save anything, this Rust update isn't a forced wipe. If you want to backup, then the server/identity folder would be best to save. -
Thx so the update to I do

Known bugs so far; cannot put normal furnaces on foundations.
Thanks for the quick update Wulf. -
I guess this comes with the new, big furnace which can only be placed outside as well, maybe they also changed the small ones?
Regards -
Yes I believe so.
-
Got it updated now to update steam and then try to login
-
@Wulf - Can you give us any updates on the current bugs plagueing the servers?
