Type. "find ." in your server console or RCON. You could also try "find decay". -
Appears to be no command to control decay :/
-
decay.scale <value> (default 1)
-
If you can't find a command to control decay then your Rust server isn't running the latest option update, so I'd recommend updating your Rust server and installing Oxide on top of it again.

When i type in server.secure false it doesnt allow people with vac-ban join! why?
-

That may only cover EAC, not VAC. -
but a friend of mine did the same to his server and it worked then

Try adding it to your cfg/server.cfg or startup script then. -
where is that located?
-
Wulf Community Admin
cfg/server.cfg -
There is no server.cfg in the cfg folder
-
Wulf Community Admin
You'd make one then.
-
is it the same folder where bans.cfg, users.cfg and serverauto.cfg is?
-
Wulf Community Admin
No, Rust loads it from cfg/server.cfg. -
you are talking about the server folder?
-
Wulf Community Admin
No, cfg/server.cfg, from the root server directory. -
where is that?
-
There is actually a minor bug in the loading of the configuration file in Rust as it isn't loaded from the server identity folder. It is instead loaded from the root directory (the one that has the folders server, config, logs, RustDedicated_Data, ...). You want to create a new folder "cfg" in here and in that folder you create a file "server.cfg". And in that file you place all the server commands you want to execute when the server loads.
