can i shoot it to turn it off?

 

lol actually it does just the opposite. If you shoot it, it will follow you incessantly.

 

i have typed /sl add but its not doing anything and it has fuel in it and it wont let me turn it on. also its just pointing downwards. :/ what do i have to do to get it working?

 

once you add spotlight/s you then need to assign it a mode /sl mode <mode> all,player,heli,lightshow

 

By default it is set to the "all" mode. If it is pointed down, that means there isn't a valid target in range.

When in 'players' or 'all' mode, players will not be targeted if:
They are the owner
They are in the owner’s clan
They have building privilege
They are crouching, unless they were the last person to damage the light
They are invisible
They are out of line of sight

hi, what that the permissions you added? trying to use /sl add tells me I don't have permission for this.

Hey guys! When trying to use the lights it says I don't have permission. Also, when I type "securitylights.use" in console, it does nothing. Still can't use the lights, any ideas?

Also, when I type the grant command in-game it says I don't have access to use this command? I'm set as owner in the config files. Any ideas please people

 

What is the exact command you are typing into the console? It should be something like "grant user <name> securitylights.use"
